Cons: needs the key to tighten into spacePros: super easy to install!! I am quite disabled, unable to use my hands well or stand for long. I had this up well enough to use in less than 2 minutes from pulling it from box.My grandsons are able to open itAutistic grandson says it is good because it closes automatically and it locks also says it is quiet. It IS. After our ancient old rattley gate this 1 is a JOYMy door frame is not squared and the gate still fits and works perfectly.It is fairly sturdy. Extremely easy to assemble the basic parts (all I used) and super easy to install. I judge the sturdiness by being able to keep out our 60 pound pit jumping into it. FYI he COULD jump over it, if he realized it.I purchased this from Amazon warehouse for a much reduced price. It is to replace my old (ANCIENT) gate that is nearly identical except it doesn't close and latch itself. For some reason my 2 youngest grandsons could open the old gate but not latch it closed to keep dogs out of my room. With a new baby due soon and all the medications I take, a closed locked gate is an absolute must.I DEFINITELY recommend this gate. If you have a problem with it or it is missing parts you need, first read the directions and if that doesn't work, send it back for a replacement.I am so thrilled with this gate and now I can have my bedroom door open!!! Important to me since my mobility is severely limited, so I can still somewhat be a part of the family

Our youngest child is 9 now, so we had nothing left for dealing with a baby, when we suddenly became foster parents for a 16 month old. We went back to the baby gate hurdles, but being a bit older, it's just not as easy in your 40s.This gate replaced one of our old fixed gates and allows us to keep our little bundle of energy from getting into things she shouldn't, without slowing us down, or tripping us.It was easy to assemble, locks securely, and relatches itself every time without needing any action from us.It's great peace of mind for the busiest doorway in our house.My 70+ year old mother can use it easily, and our 9 year old can hope over it with ease.When the little whirlwind is in her crib, it's easy to swing the gate open and settle it into one of the 90 degree detents, allowing us to go back and forth unhindered.The gate depends on tension against the door posts to keep it in place, the rubber feet have been enough to keep it in place without marring the paint. The gate also came with pads to help anchor it against a plaster wall, and U shaped parts to attach to a railing. All good extras that add value for any type of homeI got this with a lightning deal, basically an instant coupon on Amazon that saved me a few dollars, but it wasn't free. I really only got it because of this deal. Still cost over $25.

I love the way this pressure mount gate install is designed. You just turn the pressure points. As you do so it clicks, giving you assurance that it's actually tightening. It also includes an additional tool/lever to assist with turning the pressure points. Perfect for when your trying to get all the way tightened or in a hard to reach spot.Once installed its very sturdy. I felt comfortable pulling it with all my adult weight so I'm confident it will stop my toddler. The automatic close works great, and you can also open the gate all the way and have it stay that way (if you really shove it all the way open). Opening mechanism is easy enough to do, but complicated enough I think it will stop toddler for now. Overall very happy with the gate

Took a long time to install.

I bought two different widths of these from different companies and I love both of them. Gate swings both directions, 90° auto close, full open hold. Well-made, sturdy. Comes with two options for install: permanent using screws, or pressure point installation as to not damage woodwork, walls, etc.! I use the pressure point installation and it is very sturdy. Bought for two very large mastiffs and zero problems.***Watch the video before installing. Video is very well done, very short, and gives you tips for making installation easy. Buy it! You won't be disappointed!

so I waited a good while to make sure this product was a good one before posting a review. And now I have to say this product is just amazing. We bought this product when our lil one was just one year old and now she just turned 3. It is so versatile by just taking apart what you don't need or simply adding more extensions. The setup is easy and once tighten up simply by hand it just holds up pretty well. One note is this might work well on carpet without the need to anchor it down, but on tile or another surface to hold it down from sliding around I suggest using the Command Hooks used for hanging stuff on the walls, they work great and are really easy to remove off the floor without damaging it once you want to relocate the gate to another area. We are satisfied with this product we order another one. I highly recommend it!:)

I’m a renter and can not affix anything to the walls. I bought this to prevent my 18 month old from entering the kitchen while we cook.This was the best gate I’ve owned.Wish I bought it sooner.I assemble the furniture we get and this only took a pair of scissors to snip the zip ties after installation.Sliding the extenders in and then using the key to tighten the lock until the gates gap met flush with the outer gate took a total of 5 minutes.It is extremely sturdy. Zero wobbling, doesn’t shake. Stays open when opened all the way and automatic shuts when opened half way.Zero damage to the door frame.
