It cuts coffee beans into your desired size
It is constructed very solid and sturdy. I used to use a spinning blade grinder but it just breaks beans and hard to control. This Timemore burr blades are very sharp so it feels like you are cutting your coffee beans into your desired size and ground comes out is very even and uniform. You can adjust it from very coarse to espresso fine by clicking the dial at the bottom. It will make you coffee time more enjoyable.Just be careful not to leave this grinder standing because the handle stretches out and rather unstable so you may hit it and it falls down.I found the one with a folding handle for about $10 more which is easier to deal with and pack in.

DEFECTIVE - the plastic top breaks for no reason - NO WARRANTY
read the 1 & 2 star reviews and you will see I am not the only one to have the top break for no reason... I used it once a day for 3 months and the top just broke one morning while I was grinding some coffee beans... Timemore, the manufacturer, refused to do anything, telling me to contact the seller, Elephant Num, who also refused to replace it... everything else about the grinder is high quality - but the only PLASTIC part is truly DEFECTIVE and breaks for no reason after limited use... wouldn't be so bad if they stood behind their product and REPLACED the DEFECTIVE part (the handle)...at the bottom of the Amazon description it says: "ElephantNum Service | We will provide product and accessories consultation, our 12-month quality issue warranty, and friendly customer service."their '12 month quality issue warranty' consists of telling you they "have no spare parts" and to offer you a $10 refund for a grinder that is now unusable... THAT is their 'friendly customer service'... if you decline that $10 refund so you can have an expensive paper-weight, they say they will refund the total price if YOU PAY to ship it back to them... I should not have to pay to ship their DEFECTIVE product back to them...I am filing a dispute with my credit card company (Amazon VISA) to get a refund... and if that doesn't work - I'll see them in small claims court...

Very well manufactured coffee grinder
So far I like everything about this grinder. I've been using it for French press brewing, in place of a worn out Hario hand grinder. Since I've yet to purchase an espresso machine I opted to keep using a hand grinder. The main goal purchasing this was to get a hand grinder with good blades that would produce very consistent grind. I haven't done any extensive testing, but I've been able to produce better coffee with 7g less beans per batch. If the manufacturer pays attention to these reviews, I saw this brand reviewed on James Hoffman's YouTube channel.I may update this review with my results trying it with a moka pot in the future.

Poor quality product and poor customer service from ElepnantNum.
I purchased this coffee grinder in December of last year. Since that time, the top of the grinder has nearly broken completely away. Little by little, pieces of it break off, and I have been unable to get a response from ElephantNum. It's not a cheap product, and because of that I thought it would be a higher quality grinder. My cheap electric ones have lasted for years! This one is nearly unusable after only months.

Works great, but expensive
I bought this for making pour over coffee. It works great and the grind size is consistent.I think it is too expensive, but don't want to pay more for the electrical type. The build quality is good.

Used and Damaged
When paying >$80 for a manual coffee grinder, one would think the product would be new, clean, and undamaged. Unfortunately, none of the above were true with the order received. There is damage and signs of use on the product. Internally, there are coffee grounds everywhere. Even the cloth bag the that came with the grinder is filthy.

Works and looks great!
I ordered the 'TIMEMORE Chestnut C Manual Coffee Grinder - ElephantNum Featured (C1, Blue)' for review and would like to share my thoughts. This really is a great looking and solid manual coffee grinder. It is well built and functions as it should however I think that it is a bit on the pricy side. I have another brand that functions just as well although it is not as solid and stylish as this one. This would make for a great gift for any coffee lover and should last a good long time because of the solid build quality. Another thing worth mentioning is that the handle cranks really easily compared to my lesser quality grinder which is just not as smooth. I think that this is really where this one shines. You can just tell that this is a quality grinder. Overall I am very happy with this grinder and feel like it will last many many years. I hope that this was helpful.

Lid Broke After 800g, Poor Support
Most of the grinder is metal and feels solid, but unfortunately the lid cracked in two places from normal usage before even 1 kg of coffee was put through this. I haven't dropped or banged it on anything, and was careful when replacing the lid each time.I attempted to email the customer service email on the web site that Amazon points to, but they simply asked that I email them through Amazon, which isn't an option in my app or web UI.Other than this issue, it has been a fine grinder for pour over and aeropress coffee.

Part of my keep fit routine
Use this to grind my own beans for my Aeropress. It’s simple to use, just remove the handle to fill it up, crank away for a minute and unscrew the bottom to release the grounds. It takes about the same time as my kettle does to boil, about a minute. It does make my pecs burn towards the end so it’s good exercise too.

Makes great coffee, but poor build quality - breaks with normal usage after short time
This grinds coffee well, but shatters with normal usage. The thin plastic lid breaks after turning the grinder, in a normal fashion, after a few weeks of use. The handle also fell off.
