The most beautiful, heavy pans!
I bought this set after owning lower tier Scanpan for the past 20 years. (The first pan we ever bought isn’t quite as nonstick now, but the other 3 original pans are still wonderful—including a 12” sauté pan we’ve used almost daily for a good 10 years. I did just learn that you’re never supposed to hear them above medium, and to heat for a minute or two before adding fats. I don’t use metal utensils on them and don’t put them in the dishwasher. Don’t need to—because they’re nonstick! We do often put them in the oven when the recipe calls for it—no problems there even with non-metal handles.)When I opened the box, I literally gasped. These pans are GORGEOUS. They’re also heavy so they hold heat amazingly, and they’re beautifully ergonomic. (Handles, etc.) I bought this set in case we want to switch to an induction cooktop at any point. I fully expect this to be the last cookware I’ll buy. (Upgraded from 50-year-old RevereWare! Also excellent quality.)I loved this set so much, I bought another for my son and his fiancé as a wedding present. They were pretty overwhelmed.

The Only Pots and Pans Collection We Will Ever Need!
We tested the waters with Scanpan last year by purchasing their 12" HaptIQ frying pan and their 12" CTX cooking pan with lid. While we are still happy with the CTX pan, we absolutely fell in love with the HaptIQ frying pan. I can't say the cooking experience between them is a night-and-day difference, but I can say the HaptIQ nonstick surface is definitely superior to the nonstick surface of the CTX pan. After test-driving both of them for more than six months, we finally went all-in on the 13-piece HaptIQ collection. The HaptIQ cookware is expensive, but buying the set was still more cost-effective than buying individual pieces. Out of the box, everything was in perfect condition...flat bottoms, perfect finish inside and outside of every piece. The glass lids are interesting...each one features two amazingly drilled steam holes straight through the bare glass. That is a first for us. Too soon to know whether that feature will later lead to a structural failure, but it sure looks different than anything else we've seen when shopping for cookware. The 12" frying pan doesn't come with a lid, but we knew that before we bought it, so we can't really complain here about it. Good news is the stainless steel lid that came with our 12" CTX pan fits the HaptIQ frying pan just fine, so now it just serves double duty whenever we need a lid for either pan. If the prices don't scare you, you won't be disappointed with the Scanpan HaptIQ line of products.

Excellent cooking set
I purchased these after ruining a Scanpan set by burning two pots. These are really sturdy and didn’t get ruined by overcooking dumplings. The nonstick surface seems to be able to handle “surface of the sun” temperatures without a problem. They are heavy and cook evenly. I love these.

Don't stick at all - NOT METAL UTENSIL SAFE!
Initially a great product - a bit expensive, but if you want to invest in the best non-stick pans on the market, this is them. SCANPAN says these are metal utensil safe... this has NOT been the case with ours. 4+ years on we are getting rid of these and switching to stainless because of the many scratches/damage over the years of having used metal utensils (which are advertised as being fine by SCANPAN).Our box arrived with one of the lids having been cracked/damaged in transit - let Cutlery and More know and they had a replacement lid shipped to us within a couple of days.Overall, I think they are the best non-stick pans on the market, but if you don't baby them constantly, and if you actually use metal utensils as approved by SCANPAN, they are going to get damaged. It will take them much longer to get extensive damage, but it will happen.

Excellent Pans
We got these after watching Master Chef reruns. They are fantastic, absolutely everything they say and more. Safe to use in the oven and great on the gas range. I think that food we cook in them is better for using them. Evenly cooked perfectly seared. From fish to steak and risotto to polenta. You won’t regret your purchase. They are however quite heavy!
