Great customer service
I bought one of the 707 spout oilers and it worked great. I later bought a second one that leaked. I had passed the Amazon return period (shame on me) so I bought a 2nd one and it leaked. Nuts... I reached out to the manufacturer, Dutton Lainson, via email and I immediately got a response. Long story short, I had a replacement in a couple of days.Ya gotta love great customer service.

Buy this (USA made) unit... it just works as it should when others leak.
Buy this one! I mistakenly tried to save a few bucks on a China-made unit that leaked the first time I used it. This one is just like the one I used many decades ago; it is made in the USA and works perfectly. It's important to be able to control the flow of how I use it, and I'm glad I got this one, (and returned the cheaper, different unit)

Doesn't leak, but fitment is poor
Good news it doesn't leak so far. Need to be very careful when tightening the container. Stop at snug, any further and the gasket just pulls into the oil and leaks like a seive! Also the spout didn't have actual threads for attaching to the pump, looked like it, but didn't even begin to screw in! Forcing with pliers did the trick. The pump lever was also bent flat, so no pumping movement ; once recent to a curve it works fine! I guess it's the quality to be expected these days!

Handy for putting oil where you want it
Beats the old solid-spout oil cans.

Works as good as it looks!
I needed an oil can as I had lost my last one in the move to the new house. The last one was from TSC and it took a beating but always worked. This one is of better quality and is actually less expensive than my last one!I like how it works, nice and smooth. It has also seen some rough use and looks and works great!

This Can Leaks!
I did read the prior reviews indicating that others had problems with leakage but it seemed to have good reviews as well and it was reported to be manufactured in the USA. Well I ordered this can and intended to use it with Aviation Hydraulic Fluid. I have used the cheap Harbor Freight Cans for years with this same fluid and have had no problems although I just didn't like the nozzle and wanted a can made in the USA if possible so I foolishly tried this Goldenrod can. It began to leak within the first 2 hours after I filled it and the leak is around the bottom of the can along the rim. I don't know if the manufacturer stamps the can in a press or welds or glues the base to the body of the can but the seam is faulty. This truly junk!I wouldn't trust this company again! The full name of the manufacturer of this defective oil can is the Dutton-Lainson Company. I would NOT recommend their products! For one thing, the reviews of this and similar cans made by this company have indicated that they leak yet this company has obviously decided to keep on marketing crap to trusting customers as long as it sells rather than "retooling" and actually make a this product reliable and functional! My advice is to AVOID THE PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!
