I shared this book with my priest and he agreed with me; that it covers human history from God's perspective on our history as the family of God. It helps very much to have the workbook and Dr. Scott Hahn's book, A Father Who Keeps His Promises: God's Covenant Love in Scripture; as a lot of the study is based on it. If you are serious about learning your Catholic faith this is a Must Have. Just a tip you can get a free 6 wk study on Dr. Hahn's website [...] to aid you and EWTN is running a series based on this book with Dr. Hahn right now. I know that I now understand how the old testament prefigures the new and how the Bible all works as one book. As I said HARD WORK, but you will learn much you did't know or understand if you are serious and keep at it.

This workbook which accompanies a powerpoint presentation is very helpful. One suggestion/(complaint?): The note- taking section should be in an 'outline' format, that is, it needs to have indentations to denote the subgroups within a concept. It is difficult to follow the presentation and look at the workbook without being a bit confused.

thought this was a book but is more like a study guide w/o the study material to precede the guide. Only had a few days and will have more to check out later. looks like it needs a companion book by Hahn, "A Father who keeps His Promises". Will likely purchase it later to help figure out study guide.

This workbook paired with " A Father Who Keeps His Promises" is awesome. This guide journeys with the reader and outlines the book. I have learned so much. Our parish has offered a three part lesson and discussion on this very book. I would encourage everyone to purchase these books.

Workbook didn't match the video of same name. Good but frustrating.

It is important to note that this item is a workbook. I have the Kindle edition of the actual textbook so it makes sense to me. However, without the textbook to accompany it you might feel a little cheated! It would be helpful if it were described in the ad as a workbook.
