This is a well built adapter! Super rigid doesn’t buckle or bend. I saw some complaints of odd sizing- this fit perfectly into my current standard size dryer vent. Took about 20 mins to install. My only complaint is they used a silicone sealant to seal some of the inside edges of the Y, and they missed some of the holes so air could escape. But a wrap or two of some aluminum vent tape and it sealed perfectly! Would have given 5 stars if they just hit those few small holes! Would absolutely recommend!!

I used this item to add a portable AC unit to a laundry room and use the same Dryer vent to the exterior of the home. Had to also get some HVAC metal tape, and worked like a charm.

The unit did as exactly as needed to plumb two separate vent lines into one vent hole.

Bought to allow 2 powerful ceiling mounted extractor fans to eventually merge into 1 channel - the angle being very important so air isn't pushed in unwanted directions. Fitted 1 way spring loaded sections to the pair of entry sections to prevent unwanted air coming into the house from outside, all working perfectly together.
