Great quality silicone
Permatex is a superior brand and it was cheaper at Amazon than my local hardware. Nothing but good adhesion from this company. Great products they make.

Good sealant for exterior windows
This worked well for touching up some black caulk on my exterior windows. There was enough in one tube to touch up some gaps and cracks around my whole house. It dried well and seems durable. I did use my fingers to get it into the cracks and had to clean my hands with a kitchen scrubbing sponge as it can be messy.

Excellent product, but sticks. To skin be careful
This stuff is excellent, adheres well on outside vehicle trim. Warning It sticks to the skin and you can't get it off for days.

Very good stuff. Thick . Sets up fast so be ready . Lay bead nice and smooth quickly.
Great stuff if you are experienced with adhesive silicones and prepared to work quickly. This is sticky , thick and sets fast.Be ready with gloves, wet rags or towels and prep good. This is as good as 3m 4200 and sticky like 5200 but less permanent if ever want to remove.. love dark black color too.I used to fix leaks on my black jeep components and roof rack.Reviewed: 3-15 -24 ..I still recommend this product but unfortunately the second time I purchased it, I went to use and like other reviews , it's chunky or clogged . Be sure to make decent size hole in nozzle and run nail or something down inside tube to loosen silicone and get flowing best . You'll also know if tube is good or defective or has started to set up before you even receive it.It's not Amazon fault .. probably storage temps or at factory it passed or was missed in QC ... ( This stuff is still my favorite for sealing and adhesive silicone) If you are experienced with using it ...Have plenty of warm water and clean towels or shop rags handy....Thanks ..

Works well, be prepared for the mess
I used this to fix open area after using 3M double sided tape to fit a spoiler on my Supra. There was only one area that had an open area and if I kept it open more dirt and water would go in. It looks super good when done but it’s very very messy. I removed the tape probably around 15 minutes, and it was still in its liquid phase. And boy was it messy. At that point, I wanted to have a cleaner line and I wanted the finish line to sit more underneath the spoiler, but anything I did at this point was smearing. I think it's better to sit and wait until it reaches the rubber phase for cleanup. It's pretty spot on about the timing at the 45 minute to 1 hour mark when it gets to be more rubbery in consistency. That's when I did the best cleanup. I used a small cup of water and dipped a glove-wrapped plastic trim remover (best not to use metal because it'll scratch your paint) and started pushing the edges of the silicone to a straight line. This will leave small smear marks, but it's way easier to clean up at the rubber phase, which I use alcohol pads to help wipe, and still at this point it wipes smeared silicone very easily.

Strong
It’s easy to apply, dries quickly, and forms a strong, durable bond. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use, this sealant is perfect for waterproofing, automotive repairs, and home improvements. The black color blends well with many surfaces, providing a neat finish.

Don't use it on your shoes!
This stuff is NOT the same as Shoe Goo. For a while now I've been almost resoling some back soled shoes (they're no longer made) with Shoe Goo as I have over pronation and the back side of the heel wears out fast. I often would rebuild the heel with SG, then during the first walk it would sort of sand itself back to smooth and blend right in. Foolishly, I tried doing the same thing with this stuff and it behaved very differently. Where SG is more like liquid rubber, this stuff is more just like black caulking. So it rebuild my heel but rather then sort of sanding down like a normal shoe sole (or SG) it instead just sort of tears away and rips. It still sticks to your shoe (so far anyway) but it will forever look messy. I learned my lesson here, as is often true, you get what you pay for. Back to Shoe Goo I go. I'm sure this stuff is great for other things, but I would strongly not recommend it for shoes. FWIW, I don't think they do either but I saw a reviewer or two here who did. There were some parts of the shoe where the sole was pulling away and I tried to sort of glue those spots like I do with SG and it sadly failed there too.
