Johnstone's Washable Matt Paint

This paint was a pleasant surprise. The coverage is excellent, even on older walls, and the colour dries evenly with a clean matt finish. It spreads smoothly with both roller and brush, and two coats were more than enough for a professional look. What stands out most is the washability. Marks wipe away easily without lifting the paint or leaving shiny patches, which makes it ideal for high traffic areas. It also dries quickly, so you can get a room finished in a short time. For the price, the performance is impressive, and the finish looks far more premium than expected. A very solid choice if you want durable, easy to clean walls.

Great colour and coverage

Lovely colour, looks amazing. The paint is quick drying. Gives excellent coverage. Gone from dark grey to cream in two coats.

For a washable paint, it performs well and the colour gives a nice clean look once it’s on. It’s easy to use, decent thickness and covers the kids’ marks without too much effort. Dry time’s a bit longer than I’d like, but the washability is spot on and makes life easier in a busy house. I'd use it again for use.

I Recently used Johnstone’s Washable Paint in Manhattan Grey for my living room, and I’m really impressed with the results. Great, can't wait to get Painting, bonus it's not only tough but it's also washable which is good when you have children and grandchildren. I have used this paint in the past and it covers really well and it dries quickly too which is great when you have children around and they want to touch the walls, The size of the can is good it seems to go quiet far as it is not to thin and not to thick it is just right

In the pot, the colour I brought is very vibrant and deep. Initially surprised at how “thick” the paint appeared to be but with either a smooth emulsion (Harris) roller or a brush (for cutting in/edges) it went on really well, smoothly and covered reasonable large areas with one roller full. Brush loaded well and applied to the wall smoothly. One coat looked OK, but the colour came alive with the second coat. Very smooth finish and little to no smell when applied or as drying. Was touch dry very quickly, certainly within the manufacturers 2 hour timeframe; re- coat able at the 4 hour mark. Very little splatter when applied with the roller. One can argue that it’s a bit pricey, but I’d argue all day long that its value for money given its, in my humble opinion, quality and application.

Very nice soft pink colour, used to paint over lime green, needed three coats in some areas but the wall hadn’t been painting in a very long time

Er was in mijn haar gemorst. Ik krijg het er echt niet uit. Ook niet meer uit kledij. Zeer raar voor een verf op waterbasis
