Don't hesitate...Product Quality is Superb!!
It's not everyday I write a review for items purchased, but I wanted to speak to the quality of this LOC to assist others in their decision. I have this feeding the signal to a preamp routed to a 4 channel amp and at 60 watts per channel it's doing the job quite nicely. I've had it installed for several days now and have pushed it quite hard. It's performing per it's specifications and if you're able to look pass a brand then this is the product for you. Again, I don't write reviews but wanted to assist others in their decision to get the maximum out of the minimum. Thanks for reading this review and I hope your day is filled with Greatness!

Higher quality than expected
I bought this because it was the cheapest 4 channel Hi/Lo converter on Amazon. I had recieved a budget radio for Christmas that looked nice on the front and had apple car play to replace my 12 year old Pioneer double din that lacked modern feel and features. The new radio however, did not have 3 sets of RCAs like my old one. It also does not have as much detail in the settings but that can be corected with my line driver and Digital Designs amplifiers.Long sotry short, I did not want to spend a lot on a converter for a radio that cost less than $100 just to try it out. I am pleased with the sound quality of this converter paired with the bidget radio. As long as the converter lasts, I would recommend it. If it fails, I will update the review. This is the budget radio for reference: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LHDDY3Q/?coliid=I196FU3BOFTSO3&colid=3AOFQHR5JGBVD&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Works great. Much better than expected.
Based on some of the reviews, I was prepared to find some quirks and things. But I was pleasantly surprised with this converter. It certainly serves my purpose. And I'm glad I took a chance with it. I also noticed that my pre-existing ground noise was eliminated upon adding the converter. I'm not sure if it has the filter (which wasn't in the description. I'm not audio savvy and perhaps all converter comes with it) but I was happy to find that out. :)

Very Delicate
Adjustment knobs break so easily. Saying this thing is delicate is an understatement.

Doesnt eliminate feedback
I got this item to convert high to low input and eliminate my alternator whine. It does work as an inout converter but made my alternator whine work and even created a crackling type of interferance. I would return it but i think it will be easier too buy separate ground loop isolators than rewire a new converter that may not be much better.

Works great
I used this to replace a direct line-level amplifier connection with alternator and ignition noise I was unable to suppress. Switching to this speaker-level to line-level converter and driving the amplifier this way eliminated the noise. Audio quality seems unchanged and normal. This is not a plug-and-play installation, and you will need to look up the head unit to amplifier wire connections and do some splicing for the head unit speaker-level wires and also make the correct RCA plug connections for the line-level amplifier connection. Only one converter box is required for LF, RF, LR, and RR because it is 4-channel. There is an attenuator for individual channels.

Items works as described, poorly put together, wire colors don't make any sense.
I gave it three stars because it does what it's supposed to do.Two things I didn't like about it: 1)The wiring colors don't make any sense. Every car stereo you purchase has the same color code for the speaker wires. They used some of the same colors, but they didn't correspond to the correct colors on the stereo. Not very installer friendly. 2) The unit is made very cheaply. As soon as I opened the package the bottom fell off and the guts fell out. The RCA connections were staked to the board with zip ties and hot glue, but the bead that was supposed to hold the speaker connections wasn't anywhere near the wires. (Before you get on me about "You only paid $10 dollars for it!" save your breath. Just because the Big Box retailers will charge you 2-3 times that, doesn't mean it's worth that much.)Bottom line, the device does exactly what it says it will do, it's just not very well constructed.
