Valuetoner Remanufactured Ink Cartridge

Product fit well . Went right into my printer no problem and has lasted longer then others I have bought on Amazon. Keep thinking that I should be alerted anytime that my ink is low like it has with previous competitors, but still printing well and I have upped my usage from selling on eBay and printing packing list and shipping labels. Will definitely buy again.

Bottom line up front, I would buy these again. They provide an excellent value, and performance is adequate for day-to-day printing.These ink cartridges are genuine Epson cartridges that have been re-manufactured. I'm not sure the "new firmware" makes a difference, as I have not had problems with my Epson XP-7100 and other re-manufactured cartridges. Packaging is simple. The caps were secure; no ink leaks. Each cartridge weighs the same as a brand new Epson factory cartridge. You can see in my picture the slight difference to the bottom of the cartridges, likely a result of the re-manufacturing process. Cartridges were recognized without a problem. I've had problems with other re-manufactured cartridges in the past, but it wasn't anything that was not solvable by simply wiping the electrical contacts with an alcohol pad (an alcohol pad was included in the packaging).Subjective print quality is on par with factory original cartridges. Black text was crisp and dark. There were no issues with black or color ink splatter. At first, I thought the quality of black ink left something to be desired, but checking the "high quality" print option in the system dialog fixed that. Photo printing on high-quality, glossy photo paper produced picture-frame ready 8 1/2" x 11" prints.Overall, these printer cartridges are an excellent choice for anyone looking to satisfy their everyday printing needs, without having to pay 4X the cost for factory original cartridges.

I put the black one in. The epson police did not detect it as a foreign invader. I ran a print job and it worked on a couple pages. I'll update in the future depending on how things go.Update - After a few days sitting I printed an image and several vertical lines were blank. I ran a head cleaning routine 4 times. That managed to get red of all but one of the lines. I'll live with that for now but will look to an alternative until this runs out of ink or gives trouble that cannot be fixed. As for the color cartridges, I just hope they work better.Update - After 6 months I finally needed to replace another cartridge, this time the photo black. Initially it the epson police stated it did not recognize the cartridge. Inspecting the cartridge I found the contact tabs on the back of it were tarnished black. These are not the gold contacts, but two small contacts on the other end. After some scraping and using a pencil eraser I put the cartridge back in and it worked.

These worked great in my Epson XP-7100. Never update the firmware for Epson, these worked great until I did the firmware update, after that they would not work again, kept getting error message saying replace ink tanks. I purchased another Epson XP-7100 and did NOT do the firmware upgrade, the same cartridges that did not work in the XP-7100 with updated firmware worked beautifully in the new XP-7100 NON-UPDATED firmware unit. Expensive test but now I know to never update firmware. Printer manufacturers make no money on the printers, they price gauge you for the expensive ink cartridges. Even when you print black only it still uses cyan to "ENHANCE" the results...what a ripoff.

This ink is a great value and alternative to buying the more expensive name brand. I have purchased this several times and was pleased with the overall quality. The most recent time I purchased the ink I did have a problem getting my Epson printer to recognize the them initially upon replacing the used cartridges, but followed the included instructions that state that you might need to remove them and wipe the chip off and reinstall them again and it worked like a charm.

I have tried this before with other cartridges that were not Epson and the printer would not recognize them and I threw them away. These cartridges were installed and my Epson tried to update the program but I did not let it update. The cartridges were installed with each one telling its color and matching Epson numbers. A quick test showed the colors to be as good as Epson cartridges. I probably saved $30-40 dollars as opposed to buying Epson cartridges from a "big store" who will remain unnamed......The only complaint was not with ValueToner but the USPS...the cartridges were placed in my outside mailbox with the temp below freezing. I let them set overnight before installing them and everything is fine. If they last as long as originals I will always purchase from ValueToner in the future. Thanks for a great product at a reasonable price.

Epson customer service was not very polite when I told them I had purchased a box of Epson 410 cartridges and the printer would not even recognize their Epson cartridges. I was at the point of trashing this thing and buying a new printer. As a last resort, I looked on Amazon and read several reviews for the Valuetoner ink. Considering the Valuetoner was half the price of the Epson ink and the Valuetoner were all XL cartridges, I had to give them a try. When I first installed them, the printer never missed a lick and the quality of print is equal to or better than the original Epson ink. Thanks Valuetoner and the reviewers I read for giving me my printer back! From my experience, I would recommend these to anyone.

Bad inks that smudges very disappointed!!Return was accepted although it turn out I have to pay $19 in postage fees, they ll refund upon receipt of the item. That doesn’t work for me, never knew it s s us destination and I m from Canada, another disappointment how Amazon let that happened so much for Prime.

I thought I would have to return this product because of the difficulties I had on getting replacement cartridges but to my surprise it worked. It works with firmware ver. YL11K6 which is the latest firmware update

Wasn’t sure it would work with my printer, I’ve heard that Epson can be selective about the ink it accepts but this worked like a charm and super cheap compared to buying it at staples
