It does kink after a while. It is all one piece so you can't disconnect the base from the cannula.

Unlike the tubing and cannula supplied by Apria, this tubing and cannula are soft and comfortable. Only used it for a day, but the tubing hasn’t kinked and the tubing with the cannula is very soft, does not press into my face or hurt the tops of my ears. It does have a strange odor - I let the oxygrn run for a while before I used it…. If it weren’t for the odor (hasn’t dissipated) I’d give 5 stars. If it does become odorless, I’ll come back.

This is a simple way to get a noisy old concentrator out of the room. Hose is supple and kink free without memory from coils. The canula points ar0e soft and comfortable in the nostrils. Makes moving from bedroom to bathroom uninterupted insuring a steady supply of O2. Cleans easily! Great quality tubing for a great price.

Works perfect

We purchased the O2Remote Machine which has a remote control that allows the user to release tubing (attached to an oxygenator source) as needed and corral it in when not needed. We successfully used the O2Remote Machine with another tubing which apparently is much thicker and never kinked while used. The tubing we successfully used had multiple channel connections which limited the distance one could successfully use it. We were trying to eliminate this issue, and that is when the decision for the purchase of the 1-Pack Westmed #0196 Adult Comfort Plus Cannula with 50' Kink Resistant Tubing was made. It was impossible to even use this item one time without it kinking. The O2Remote has an opening specifically created to allow tubing to pass in and out using a remote control. On the first day of use, it kinked twice, making it unacceptable. I reattached the older tubing until a better solution can be found to work with the O2Remote. IMPORTANT NOTE: Anyone who purchases the O2Remote should NOT purchase this tubing. The thickness of the tubing should be such that kinking does not occur. Previous to purchasing this tubing, I made calls to inquire about 50' length tubing. I was not successful in locating any locally, but plan to go to a local business to inquire further about the tubing thickness now attached and search online again.

I use this with my large oxygen concentrator. I was looking for something pliable with a soft cannula. This product has both of those attributes. It does not kink easily and is very comfortable to wear. I think it comes in both longer and shorter lengths so it can be very versatile.
