Swede-O Inner Lok 8 Ankle Brace, Black - Large

At first wasn't excited about it then we read the brochure/instructions on how to use the brace. Number One Clue: read the enclosed instructions before using. It makes all the difference in the world. My husband has flat feet, the ankle rotates inward and the outside of the ankle is bone to bone. He has been told he will need surgery on it but if he got a good brace to help hold his foot and ankle in place, then he could put it off until the brace doesn't work any longer. We have spent hundreds of dollars on different types of braces and orthotics and nothing had worked. Then we saw this one, Swede-O Inner Lok Ankle Brace and ordered it right away. He doesn't get out of bed without putting the brace on first before any walking on it. It has helped so much that we know there is no other brace especially at this low price, that will work. He is truly amazed on how easy he can adjust it to do exactly what he needs. Plus, it means he does more and walks more. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to give our opinion.

Fits well and relieves foot and ankle pain. Hard to reassemble if comes apart!

Felt great and supportive. Extremely time consuming to lace up correctly and then to take off as well.Bought a different from brand.

My gymnast has recently recovered from an ankle injury. After she was cleared to return to normal activities, her doctor recommended that she wear a brace during her practices to prevent any further injuries. This brace is perfect. She has great support and is able to tumble well with it on. We originally opted for a cheaper brace that you can purchase at the nearest drugstore, but it just didn't fit right nor did it support her ankle very well. The sides of this one are adjustable, as well as the laces, so it's customizable for a perfect fit. I recommend that you measure well before choosing the right size, as it is very accurate. She is just shy of a women's 6.5 shoe and the X-Small is perfect. The other sizes would be too big.

The brace has OK support. Not the greatest but then again, it is a soft brace. However, it is really difficult to get off the foot as compared to my other brace.

As a senior athlete who still participates in basketball, softball and other outdoor activities, I have found this brace to be the best form- fitting, comfortable, and supportive of any brace I have tried. Highly recommended.

Wish I had bought this first. After a severe ankle sprain, I purchased a drug store pullon wrap with metal braces- very uncomfortable digging in the sides and could not wear with any shoes. Went to doctor & he recommended Sweede-O by name. Been very happy and can wear with sneakers, albeit not completely laced (sneakers that is). Would recomend for ankle support,but not arch or foot issues.

Does not stabilize your ankle. I have been wearing a boot since November and thought this would be more comfortable but it is useless and very uncomfortable to wear. A total waste of $50.
