I’m 5’5” 120lbs - I bought this board to transition from an 8’ foamy board (riding well in white water), hoping to move up to green, unbroken waves. NOPE. It feels like a big boogie board, does NOT float well either. The black Kona “sun face” logo just rubbed off w/ 1st wax application. Disappointing board. The leash is a great leash at least. They advertise it for kids & adults, but should just be for kids, IMO. I tried to sit (straddle) it in open water and it sinks.…. Kona??

If you're a casual surfer who wants a board that's not too pricey but is durable, then consider getting this surfboard. It is a nice low maintenance board that assembles quickly and holds together well.

Great for a small child. My 12 year old couldn’t use it.

Great board for my son as he transitions from a long board to a short board. It’s very light and easy to carry. Even my 8 year daughter likes to use it.

I bought this board because it was short enough (5'5") to easily surf the man made wave in my local river. After using it, the board seems worth it's price as it comes with fins and a leash, and seems fairly durable. The fins have rubber edges, which are especially nice for the river as they do not scratch easily on rocks. Would recommend this to a friend.
