This is my go-to dark chocolate bar. For those with discipline control, this bar will be tough, especially with the irregular pattern that makes it difficult to portion out servings. Very thick bar, perfect, balanced flavor, and a great price for the quality.

Used for melting and desserts. Good flavor, obviously not the same as single-source chocolate, but still pleasantly fruity and rich with a trace of bitterness. If you want to snack on it, though, I recommend chopping or doing shavings, it's way thicker than a normal chocolate bar. I love the ingredients and the fact that it's fair trade, yet still a reasonable price per oz!

It's a fun eating experience with plenty to go around for the eager kids who want try it, with some left over for the stash. The quality to price ratio is quite satisfying. Is it the best chocolate I have had? I suspect real gourmands can find better and likely pay more. But, like I said, substantially better than super-market chocolate and it comes with a terrific promise about its ethical sourcing. I ordered both milk chocolate and dark chocolate versions, and both were good, with the dark not being super bitter. I probably preferred the milk chocolate version, for its creamy consistency. I give it five stars, not because it is the mind-blowingly amazing chocolate, but because the quality and quantity to price ratio seems very good, and it fit perfectly for what I was looking for: A "better than average" experience that is ethically sourced.

This is truly a dark, thick, and rich chocolate bar. And, when I say thick, I am also talking about the size and weight of this bar. It is big and heavy. You get your money’s worth. Gotta say, this 70% cocoa solids chocolate bar rings all the bells. It will be on my shopping list from now on.

I swear every brick-and-mortar store only stocks the milk chocolate version, probably because nobody likes milk chocolate. Now, the dark chocolate? Pure magic. The chocolate is sensational. Shipping was quick. Sadly, Amazon made out this was a bulk buy but only one bar shipped. That said, Amazon owned the error. Good on them.
