These are the best dog treats I’ve found. They’re soft, and they’re the perfect size to cut in quarters, which makes the bag last quite a while. I cut up several then keep them in a little airtight container on the counter. They do dry out if not sealed, but the dog still loves them. I like to keep them soft though so I can kind of smash each little treat as I give them, it makes a slightly more substantial reward for the pup. They have a very nice, kind of molasses-y smell, and my dog really reacts to them with excitement. I’ve spent so much more on treats that were crumbly or smelled gross or that the dog just wasn’t that into. The ingredients are simple, I feel really good about giving my dog these treats.

My dogs LOVE these and I love that they have limited ingredients. My dogs have allergies and these treats are safe for them to eat without worrying about any allergic reactions. The first ingredient is lamb and it makes me feel like I am giving my girls something that is high quality versus the corn or wheat junk found in other popular brands. There is NO poultry in these treats which is exactly what I was looking for. We order these with subscribe and save every month along with the Natural Balance Lamb and Rice Limited Ingredient dog food.These treats are soft and moist making them nice and chewy. My dogs prefer this style of treats over the hard biscuits.The treats are about the size of a dime and less than 5 calories each so I don't mind giving them each a few treats at once... a bonus for them and me.

These are great treats for training. I have ordered around 20 bags of them in lamb and duck flavors and the use by date on the package is always around12 months from the date of my order. My pit mix puppy loves them.For training classes where lots of treats are given, I cut each treat into 4 small pieces ahead of time (in half then half again). They can be just a bit dry so after cutting them up, I put them in quart freezer bags with a slice of bread. By the next day they are much softer.Great value and great ingredients.

I read previous reviews how fast these treats can dry out and it's like the second that you open the bag, they do indeed lose their softness. However, I can kind of combat this by sealing the bag well and then putting in another ziplock bag. I got these as a cheaper alternative to hide our dog's pills instead of pill pockets. They are ok but get the job done. They crumble easily, so it took a bit to get the knack so the pill is hidden. Keep in mind, our dog is small and taking a very small pill cut in half. I would not recommend if you have a large pill your dog needs to take.

Okay...I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't expecting my pug to like them but after he tried one, he instantly became crazy over them. I got these to train him and I managed to teach him how to sit within just a few minutes. I know my dog is incredibly smart but I also know that he doesn't listen very well unless he wants to. The bag is pretty small..I didn't count how many treats were in the bag but my guess would probably be like 60 give or take. I'll be buying these again after I run out. I highly recommend these treats.The ONLY problem I have with these treats is that they're not very chewy. My pug had a difficult time chewing them but that problem was easily solved cuz all I had to do was break them apart with my finger tips.

I've been giving Scooter, my 20 month old Yellow Lab, Natural Balance treats since he was 10 weeks old when I began training him at home. In 10 months he learned over 20 voice and hand commands easily and I used the NB treats exclusively while training him.I make certain I always have at least a couple of pouches of NB treats plus a pouch in the SUV, the pickup and the boat. They're healthy and lo-cal and chewy and Scooter loves 'em.The NB treats are the only commercial treats he gets besides his kibble and also occasional apple chunks, carrots, baked sweet potato and sharp cheddar cheese chunks. My pup is lean, agile and in tip-top shape and is almost as smart as me.

We recently rescued a pit-bull so we have been trying different training treats out. At first he ignore them, but once he figured out that they were for him to eat our pup loves the taste of these treats! We use these for low-calorie positive reinforcement. He loves them so much that now I just shake the bag to get him to come running in from the yard :)

I think he didn’t like them because they were stale. Claim to be soft chew but we’re rock hard. Wouldn’t buy again.
