I would not buy them I bought two , for elderly people And they leaked all over them. Thank God they were not drinking coffee.

No. Not recommended for microwave in the descriptions.

I have no idea what the weight is. It leaked around the lid when I drank from it, dribbling coffee down the front of me. I threw it away. It was a cheap piece of junk.
