HiBee-Golden Cactus Honey Powder 16oz X 5 Ea

I loved everything about HiBee-Golden Cactus Honey Powder! I use it daily in my husbands morning coffee as a natural white sugar substitute. He loves honey in his coffee, but using regular honey has it's down sides economically. In order to get the best price on honey you have to purchase a very large quantity. And we just don't seem to use it up fast enough before the honey hardens and crystalizes, making it difficult to use. The extra time involved to boil water to soak the honey bottle in is not worth it, since we use such a small amount at a time, and it re-crystalizes shortly after being heated.Coffee as it should be! With delicious, dependable sweet honey every morning! And at such a great price! It stores in its zipper lock package nice and snug and never clumps or gets sticky. What a great convenience! We will be using HiBee-Golden Cactus Honey Powder for a long time to come and plan on regular purchases.And who knows, I might even find other uses for this delightful product in the future! Can't wait to try it in cooking and baking!

I've been using this for years. Other brands as well. It is a more healthy substitute for sugar. Tastes just like sugar in your coffee. It also works in recipes. Use same amount as recipe calls for, for sugar. I don't understand the "warmth" question, so I only put one star there, because it is not warm, it is sweet. It does not have the warmth as liquid honey. I usually buy this at my local Asian market for $3.99, but I was out of town and ran out, so I bought this at twice the price.

First of all, I have to say that I purchased these for a very specific use case and can't really speak to any other uses outside of my own.I've recently been making my own barbecue rubs and I wanted to make one for pork that contained a little bit more sweetness and a honey flavor. That's where I found this honey powder might fill the need. I initially purchased this product specifically because of price more than anything since they all seemed to be very similar and have the same shortcomings.When I first opened the product I must say that I was a little surprised by the texture of the product itself. I was expecting an actual powder when what I received was something that looked to be a little bit more granulated. It's not the end of the world but for my use case it wouldn't incorporate with the other spices as well as I would hope. I ended up using a small coffee grinder to break it down further into a true powder form and it's worked out pretty well.Like I said, the reason I purchased this is probably very different than the reason that you are looking to purchase this but I must say the sweetness is there and the honey flavor is also there. It's no replacement for the real thing but it could do the job depending on what you need it to do.

Why did I not know this existed years ago?This stuff is amazing. It is pure dried honey, and tastes like *pure* *honey*.I use it in my lemon water, my pre-workout, my workday drink, tea, to cook with, the possibilities go on and on. If it can benefit from some extra sweetness, this can fit the bill. It's healthier and more natural than refined sugar, and way cheaper than junk, store-bought honey. I love it, use it all the time, and will buy more when I run out.

I bought this after seeing an article on the value of having a powdered honey in your pantry. In looking online this is one of the recommended choices, and I have to say for every day use in baking or liquids it really is a nice choice. The price was right, the quality was exceptional, and I would certainly agree with the author of the article that this is a great go to when you need something honey related but don’t have a jar that sitting there turning the sugar.

I was expecting honey POWDER. What I got is honey granules. So this its no good for what I bought it for. I was making cinnamon/honey Roasted Almonds, the granules won't stick the way powder does. I was going to return it but my mom bought it for baking. You should make sure the description is accurate. Oh and the bag too. The bag literally says honey powder!

Honey powder is tasty

Great if you're looking for a sugar alternative, but you'll still be getting some sugar.The package does not give the ratio, probably 50 /50.I used this in conjunction with pure honey to make my last batch of mead. Would not use this alone, as the sugar content would set the fermentation off like a bomb.No noticeable "cactus" flavor.Priced right for what it is.
