It's a nice robe, not too thick or too thin. It didn't stink when I opened the package, as some customers have mentioned but I threw it in the wash on Delicate cycle just because I always wash my clothes before wearing them. A few pills showed up after that wash. The main thing to know is this robe runs VERY small. I ordered a men's (it says Unisex on the label) *large*, and I'm a 5'3", 116-lb. woman, and it fits *me* well, so if you're actually a large man, I'd go for X or double-X if they have it! It is a comfy robe, though, and I like it.

Cozy and affordable! The material is really well made as well.

When I opened the package I was surprised at all the threads that were hanging from it. I clipped them all off and put the robe in the wash. The instructions say wash before wearing and that's because it has a horrible smell and is pretty stiff. After washing, there were more threads hanging from the robe and the seams were coming apart. It also looks as though they didn't hold it taut when they were pulling it through the sewing machine because there's a lot of pleats in the seams. I think the seamstress must have been her first day when she made this robe.As far as fit goes, I ordered an XXL figuring it would be a little too big for me. The shoulders were pretty big but there was not enough width in the robe and there was only about 3 in overlap when I tied the belt. Now, I'm not that big so I can only imagine what a true XXL would feel like with this robe.It's going back.
