How to Create Good Horse Training Plans: The Art of Thin-Slicing (Life Skills for Horses)

This is the first clicker trainer I feel like I can completely relate to. She discusses things I feel are overlooked by other trainers such as personalities of the horse and how that should be kept in mind when teaching. Martha is not a snob about her techniques which I find refreshing. This was the best CT book I’ve purchased and I look forward to owning more of Martha’s books. This book is easy to read and well organized.

Hertha's books are excellent, for both the experienced and novice. I like her perspective, there are few resources about breaking tasks down when a horse does not understand, and people need this help in a non-condescending, but specific, way.

This book is way more than training plans! The section on horse personalities is very refreshing and informative and a must read for both trainers and hobby horse owners.
