Japanese Roll Butter Cookie Cigare (20packs) | Your Choice

So I was nervous buying these because they are so expensive. I brought this first for myself to see if it's worth the hype and I believe it is. I love butter cookies and these have that taste but just lighter and with a beautiful crisp. They are the perfect tea/coffee cookie and a great little treat for yourself. They are a great gift for any age really but I'm sure more mature individuals would appreciate this better. I do love luxury but it has to be justified not just frivolity. The cookies come wrapped in the famous Japanese style that still impresses me and the tin itself is pretty. I tried a cookie ...then another. I loved it. I took the rest to work and shared it with my colleagues and they enjoyed them with me and some had it with tea others coffee. I ended up buying the large box with the assorted cookies in them for us to try. They are delicate cookies so some were snapped clean in half but none were pulverized like some of these photos and the expiration date wasn't close so that was good. Uhhh.... I have tried other cookies from Japan that I like that are less expensive, but I would still buy these they are beautiful.

Bought on this one on Oct 28th, but it has already passed the expiration date for a month.This is not the cookie's fault tho, those cookies are really good. And I knew it since I was a kid.

Love the taste. Embarrassed that half were broken when the 100 year old lady opened them. Although I am sure they will taste good, the expiration date was less than a month from the date I received them. Disappointing. I'll buy from Neiman Marcus next time.

I have been traveling to Japan and other Asian countries for the past eight years, when I would stop in Japan, there were lines of people waiting to purchase these cookies in their unique packaging. On a recent visit to Thailand, I was about to purchase a few boxes to bring home when I realized they can be purchased on Amazon for less than the store. No issue with extra luggage or weight to carry them home. They arrived before I did. Not the same for the chocolate version, this one you still need to get in Asia if you want to pay a reasonable price for them. Although Saks seems to have them

If I could buy these all the time then I would they are that good. I visited Japan and these cookies take me back there. My only-only problem with them was they was broken. I wish they could come to me not broken and I could give them as a gift. They come gift wrapped in pink-ish paper. That is how they would leave the store in Japan. Nonetheless, I love these cookies.

These are divine. The taste is impeccable. They are not overly sweet and pair nicely with coffee or wine. However many in the box (which is a beautiful royal blue tin) arrive broken. Sender should invest in much better packaging. Definitely not giftable due to that. But for personal enjoyment these are great, especially if you're sharing with someone else since they're already broken in half :)

Authentic YOKU MOKU treats!! The box of cookies came even wrapped in the Isetan department store wrapper. A few of the cookies were broken in two but not a problem for us, personally. We would definitely order again. The expiration date was 04/2020 and we bought them on 01/2020 which is great for cookies of these kind.

This arrives wrapped so that you can give it as a gift. They are in a nice tin. I bought these for the school Japanese club. They ate them as is out of the packaging, or you can fill them with a chocolate or any other filling. They went quickly! Great item! Great service!
