Aquafresh Complete Care Extra Fresh Fluoride Toothpaste, Advanced Triple Protection, 100ml

The choice of toothpastes available can be overwhelming with so many making claims to be the only one recommended by dentists and/or guaranteed to give you film star whiteness or repair lost enamel (really?) etc etc. The best dental advice I read recently was that there’s no need to pay much more than £2 for a tube of toothpaste to ensure a decent paste with the correct minimum level of fluoride. On that basis I have been trying Aquafresh and have been impressed. Pleasantminty taste, cleans teeth well leaving fresh breath. Good value. Give it a try.

Ok, this is a good price brand toothpaste and it does the job. What I mean is you get the promised fresh feeling in your teeth and gums and the tube has a pleasant, full feeling that is rare these days, but it doesn’t really work for me, for long anyway. The paste is a little too watery so when I squeeze the tube much of the paste falls into the sink. A false economy. Moreover, the fresh feeling doesn’t last for long. So I’ve been cleaning my teeth more. The whiteness claim is a bit of an overstatement too. I’ve also had a flare-up of sensitive teeth and bleeding gums. A decent effort but saving the pennies hasn’t worked for me in this instance.

I love this toothpaste. I can’t seem to get this at the local supermarket so will be buying it on here from now on. Leaves a long lasting freshness in the mouth..
