Darice SS-DAR-5915-705 Silver Metal Marquee Letter – D-9.87” Tall, Galvanized Finish

I was hesitant to get this because I wasn’t sure if I liked the more narrow “M” in comparison to other wider “M”s on the market but decided to go with this one given the value for the price and the height matching what I wanted. This was also one of the only products I found using galvanized metal and lights on the initials. Glad I took a chance on the product, it is perfect for the space I wanted and looks great. Lights are a nice warm color rather than that bright white LED look that tends to look rather cheap. There was a screw on the actually battery compartment portion that I took out to make it easier to replace batteries (rather than having to unscrew it every time) but it is a nice feature to have if the initial is going in a child’s room. Great product, very happy with the overall look and can’t beat the price. I did not receive anything in exchange for this review, just trying to be helpful :)

I could tell that it looked "vintage-y" a bit from the pics on Amazon, so for those of you looking for pristine silver letters - this is not it; they have some imperfections, but it is just the style. If you are looking more for the rustic shabby chic look, these are perfect. You will notice in the close-up pics, the "background" has almost like a beveled design in it. I just got it, and only had the lights on for a bit, but give off a nice glow. Definitely won't be keeping them on all the time but a fun thing to be able to have added to a cool monogram accessory. Not sure how much they will eat up the battery but a great look to it -- a two-thumbs up from the kiddo. :) Ps - the white clip-on light that is attached to the bed (under the hanging lion lol) was from Amazon

I had this in my dorm for over four months until I actually got it working properly. It just sat unlit because I didn’t have the proper small screwdriver to get the battery lid off. I had one for my flute, but it didn’t fit, nor did my roommate’s standard screwdriver. Someone finally happened to have a tool kit, and I was able to put battery’s in! Works as promised, is cute and cordless which is nice. I just don’t understand screwing the battery cover on, it already is secure without it. Either way, not bad and works as it stated it would. Wouldn’t buy again though, since I lived so long without it, but if you really like decorating and lights and want to spruce up your room, go for it. So long as you have a small - but not too small - screwdriver. :)

I purchased this for my son as a birthday gift. He absolutely loves it! It's perfect for all ages. It was neatly packed and it looked even better than the picture. It was nice size too. Once the batteries were in, the lights came on and it looked really cool. Don't forget to get batteries though. I completely forgot to get them. Thankfully my husband had some. In the end my son loved it, and so did we. I'm planning on ordering a second one for my daughter. It was worth it. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

I'm waiting this review solely on the look and feel of the product. I haven't put batteries in them yet as I literally just took them from the delivery guy and opened the box so I have no idea if they work 🤭 These are beautiful. I order the letters T.A.B for my daughter's initials. Which also happens to be my nickname. My name is Tabatha so of course I'm called TAB 😎 cool. Ikr 😁 They are very pretty and have some weight to them so they are not flimsy at all. I will be ordering more of these letters soon.

Item just as described. Lights up nicely. Back is black, which if hanging or putting against a wall it isn't an issue, we were using it in a centrepiece so we painted the black plastic back to match the front and sides so it didn't stand out. Edges are a little sharp but it's not a toy so it shouldn't be an issue.

Lettre en métal argenté. Les dimensions sont: Hauteur 25 cm, largeur 18,5 cm, épaisseur 4,5 cm. Le compartiment qui referme les 2 piles AA se situe à l'arrière et dispose d'un interrupteur ON/OFF. Les LED diffusent une lumière blanche et même si elles ne brillent pas suffisamment pour éclairer une pièce, elles font office de veilleuse et apportent une luminosité qui évite à la pièce d'être totalement plongée dans le noir! (veilleuse qui peut être appréciée par les enfants!) Cette lettre est bien stable et les finitions sont impeccables. Un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Ich habe diesen Leuchtbuchstaben für meine Tochter zum Geburtstag bestellt. Die Lieferung ging ratzifatzi. Sehr schön eingepackt. Für meine Tochter war es ein grandioses Geschenk, sie hat sich wahsinnig gefreut. Der Buchstabe wird mit zwei AA Batterien betrieben. Die Batterien sollten eingentlich im Lieferumfang vorhanden sein, leider aber, waren sie nicht dabei. Wir haben dann zwei Akkus eingelegt und schon konnte das J losleuchten. Die Leuchten sind in einem weißen LED-Licht. Das Gehäuse besteht aus Metall, sieht schön retro aus. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finde ich gut.
