RimmelLondon Jelly Gel Blush - 002 Cherry Popper Blush Women 0.19 oz

I stumbled across a Rimmel bronzer/contour a few weeks ago and fell in love. So I sought out a Rimmel jelly blush. Both are great products that are easy to apply and blend, they really do stay all day. The Cherry Popper color is a bit brighter than I anticipated but I get tons of a compliments, so it's fine.

Color is nice; it just does not apply well and is too liquid to travel well. I'll most likely toss this out as I have so many nicer blushes (liquid, powder, "paté") that actually show where I want them.

I have never used anything except a powder blush in my life, so this was really stepping into the deep end for me. I expected a product that would take a lot of blending and was afraid that not being able to control that would make the blush too noticeable.I'm happy to report I was wrong! This is an excellent product. I started very slow, with just a touch. I thought rubbing my cheeks would add to the blushed look and wasn't sure how much to use. Fifteen minutes later, I had a better idea and achieved a really pretty effect. Also, unlike every blush I've tried, this stuff has real staying power. At the end of the day, there was very little change in how it looked! I'm converted. I love this stuff.CAUTION: Let the jar sit upright for a while before you open it. Mine arrived upside down. I thought it was overfilled and, wow, what a mess I made trying to get the foil seal off! Turns out being upside down made the space at the top turn into an air bubble at the bottom. Once the foil was off, I was startled to see a giant bubble form, then pop, and then the product settled itself into a more appropriately filled little jar.

the only reason i did not give overall 5 is because i want to buy it again but the tiny jar does not identify the shade name just a upc code so i can not buy it again

This is a nice, natural blush. I personally like cream blush as opposed to powder, and had never tried a liquid one like this before. It applies with a wet feel, but that fades after a while. It's very subtle, and the shade is natural looking. It can be built up for a darker shade.I've found that this does not work well over a foundation/concealer (at least for me), and is better applied to a bare face.The container is adorable (holographic)! Here's a tip, though! When you get it, be sure to let it sit for a bit before opening it. The product can get on the interior foil and it can be a bit messy to open if you don't let most of the product settle.

The media could not be loaded. This was almost the consistency of foundation. Not velvety or creamy like most non-powdered/compact blushes. This did not have good pigment, it basically wiped right off my face like I had been wearing child's finger paint. I have giant pores, and this really accentuated that, it made it look like I had little red dots all over my cheeks.

it’s just patchy no matter what unless i put it on my bare face with my fingertips and layer over it. if you are looking for something like that it would prob work but it picks up product and doesn’t play well with cream contour. the texture is nice and it’s flattering it’s just a no from me dawg. lol
