Great replacement!
Worked well for our mocha pot! The first 2-3 times we brewed with it after replacing the filter and rubber gasket it brewed oddly, but it settled into place and is now acting the same it always did before we replaced it! My hubby had this mocha pot for over 2 years and hadn’t ever replaced the filter or gasket! I was very happy to find these at such a good deal!

Does not fit all Bialetti 6 cup pots
Looks like it's a great quality but does not fit my Bialetti 6 cup pot.My 6 cup Bialetti pot uses a 3 1/4" rubber ring. These are 3". Check your pot to make sure it's the correct size.Also includes the metal filter plate, a nice surprise. I wish it fit.

If you replace the gasket and your Moka pot stops working, change out the coffee filter cup too!!
I replaced the rubber gasket on my 10 year old Moka pot since the original was deteriorating, but was still brewing coffee fine. It took some effort to pry out the old gasket with a knife (melted onto the sides). After cleaning out the stuck on rubber the new gasket along with the filter cap easily popped in. However the fit was looser than the old gasket (I could easily spin it around). After the change my Moka pot stopped brewing properly. Coffee would just sputter out the top instead of flowing out smoothly and would take forever to brew. It was acting as if pressure was leaking out due to a poor seal. But there was no obvious leak. I then read online that the problem may be due to a bent filter cup (the cup where you put the coffee) and not allowing a tight seal to form. I ordered a replacement filter cup and VOILA!!! everything was fixed my Moka pot was working again perfectly. Coffee was flowing smoothly and freely. SO BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU CHANGE THE RUBBER GASKET AND FILTER CAP AND YOUR MOKA POT STOPS BREWING CORRECTLY, GET A NEW COFFEE FILTER CUP. Hopefully this prevents a lot of frustration trying to figure out what’s wrong.
