I like to sharpen my pencil with a razor as shown in the picture above, but I've been breaking it off when I push too hard, so the clutch pen works great for holding those pieces and ellininating the waste of good drawing leads.

This is a good lead holder. There was a bar code sticker that was glued directly on the pencil. It took a while for it to come off, and gave the holder a sticky feel until it was removed. The sticker should have been placed on the plastic cover that the pencil was placed in. I removed a star because of the stickiness.

I especially like the fact that it is light weight and comfortable to hold while drawing for any length of time. You can also extend the lead longer to what ever length you prefer, no need to sharpen wood like regular pencils. They also sell a nice little sharpener (shown in the photos) that works nice for these pencils. I love that these pencils also come in several values. The lead is smooth, not grainy when it's applied to drawing paper. I love everything about this pencil.I'm currently working of a drawing of a English village, partially seen in the photo.

I liked the size and feel of this pencil. Reminds me of the one I had years ago in drafting classes! A joy to use!
