Sow Right Seeds – Yellow Crimson Sweet Watermelon
Outstanding seeds! Germination was nearly 100 % (planted 20, sprouted 19). Vines grew strong and healthy with zero disease issues. The watermelons were huge (25–35 lb each), perfectly round, with bright yellow, extra-sweet flesh that blew away regular red varieties. Everyone who tried them said they were the sweetest and juiciest they’d ever had. Excellent production: 4–6 quality fruits per plant. Beautiful packaging, clear instructions, true-to-type heirloom. Already ordered more for next season. Highly recommended!

Flesh was not yellow!
Seeds produced delicious watermelons, but they were a pale orange color, not yellow! I found this by searching for yellow watermelon seeds and the photo led me to expect that. I was disappointed.

Highly Recommend These Seeds
These seeds were great!!! I cannot wait to use the rest of them next year, quite a few seeds come in the pack. The melons were juicy and sweet and each vine/seed yielded approximately 6 melons. I had a bit of a rocky start due to my inexperience but once I ironed out the kinks it took about 4 months from germination until I tasted my first melon. All of my neighbors complimented the crispiness and vibrant color.

Bad seeds! Not one grew
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I planted these seeds in zone 10 of SW Florida during our rainy season, in the summer, in nice soil with NO LUCK AT ALL! Not one seed sprouted. You can’t return anything unless you keep the package, I threw it out thinking something would grow… not!

Delicious Watermelon
Years ago, I used to buy yellow watermelon at a local grocery store. We liked it a lot, but then they stopped carrying it. A few years ago, I came across yellow watermelon at another local grocery store, and we bought it. As happened previously, we liked it a lot. Even though this particular grocery store continued selling it, we wanted to try growing it for ourselves instead of buying at the market all the time. Besides, if the store discontinued carrying it, we still wanted to be able to have it. So, I checked on Amazon and was happy to see the seeds for sale! I grew it in 2023 and had a good turnout (thanks to near constant rain through the summer); the melons were personal size, but very moist and tasty -- a perfect refreshment on a hot summer day! I must say that the melons were quite seedy, but that made it so that I could save seed for the next year. In 2024, I forgot where I put the previous year's seeds, so I ordered more from the same company. The melons didn't do so well in the summer of 2024, but I heard that the spell of very hot weather and not near as much rain as we had the previous summer made for oddly shaped (inside and out), undersized, and somewhat bland melons. I have leftover seeds from the order placed in 2024, and I found the seeds from the 2023 crop. I pray this upcoming summer of 2025 will be a great season for gardening -- including this very delicious variety of melon!
