I like to knit while I travel, and this product makes it possible. I like to put them on a hemp string to wear around my neck. They get through TSA in the airport, and they are stylish enough to wear as jewelry. I have two of them.

Absolutely love this thing. It is sharp enough to cut things other than yarn. It’s a handy tool for crafty moms. I’ve had it for two years and only now getting a new one.

This pendent appealed to me, a crocheter who spends wayyyyy too much time searching around for scissors that have slipped between the sofa cushions, disappeared under magazines or otherwise ceased to be at hand. After two days use, it’s a treat having this attractive yarn cutter at the ready! So far I’ve only used it on medium weight acrylic and cotton yarn, so can’t comment on how it cuts heavier yarn or other fibers. The sharp blade cuts easily and cleanly: while it may not stay sharp forever, I’m confident it will stay sharp long enough for the very reasonable price.

These cut yarn easily, and look very stylish. A great gift for the needle raft enthusiast!

Not as clean of a cut as I prefer but definitely better than nothing. Love the antique look but probably wouldn't purchase again. I'm too used to my Gingher scissors.

Best gadget ever

I'm a hobby crocheter with two small children (4 & 1yr). My original reason for this purchase was to eliminate the scissors from my crochet supplies so that my kids don't find them and get hurt. But after using it for a couple of days, I'll never use scissors again. I have it hanging from a chain and wear it around my neck when crocheting. I find it particularly useful when sewing in all of the ends on an almost finished product. Currently I'm finishing my first Granny-square afghan and sewing, & switching to scissors every few seconds is extremely tedious. I've found that using this pendant to cut the yarn instead of the scissors saves time and energy. The razors are all very sharp and cut yarn perfectly without leaving fuzz. And the gap isn't even large enough for my acrylic nails to slide into. My daughter grabbed it from around my neck out of curiosity; I was extremely nervous but I let her inspect it to see how large her fingers were relative to the openings. She would not be able to cut herself... But I'm probably not going to keep it with my crochet stuff - just in case. But keeping it around my neck, I've actuality just been keeping it by my bedside instead of in my crochet stuff, anyway, which works best for me and my parental anxiety. Any way.... Its a purchase I'm probably going to repeat as I'll never go back to scissors again. (Plus I've heard ladies in my crochet group mention they let you take them on planes incase you want to crochet in the air.)

A clever little gadget for knitters, sewists and general thread crafters. I saw this recommended in an article so thought I'd buy one for myself and as a xmas stocking filler for a friend. They appeared to be widely available but wanted to ensure I got the genuine Clover product and as a Prime member ordered from Amazon which was selling on behalf of the Quilted Bear Co. When my initial order did not arrive within the dates stated I contacted the company via Amazon website and they very quickly responded and re-sent which I'm glad to say arrived on the morning of the day I was seeing my friend to give her gifts. We are both very pleased with the cutter and I'm very happy with the customer service from the company.

Recently I was travelling and I knew I would have long periods hanging around at airports. I took some patchwork to do while I waited and was able to use this gadget to cut the threads instead of scissors. The blade is very sharp and works well. I did not have time to find a chain which would have enabled me to wear it as a pendant but have seen others do this, and it looks really nice. This is now a key item in my sewing kit.

Absolutely valuable piece of sewing kit.I was recommended by a friend to buy this item and I couldn’t be without it now.As a keen sewer I’m constantly loosing my scissors but with this round my neck it’s easy and safe to cut the threads.I would definitely recommend buying one.

An excellent product for cutting yarn. I actually think it cuts better and cleaner than scissors. But if you have long hair, like me, be very careful to keep your hair away from it if wearing it as a necklace, as the blades are super sharp and although large objects can't be cut by it, I've accidentally cut my hair on it before.

I treated myself to this little cutter and it is brilliant! It cuts wool clean and quickly. It is solid and very sharp! At the moment I keep it in the pocket of my knitting bag as I'm mostly knitting just now. Such a handy, safe gadget. I need to make a special lanyard for it so that I can wear it when I'm sewing - more cuts for sewing than in knitting. The size is such that it will easily fit in my little travel pouch for my row counter and other bits that I take if I'm knitting or sewing while travelling. I will be buying one for my sister to put with some other little craft gadgets for her birthday.
