Funko Pop! Rocks: Willie Nelson, Multicolour, 3.75 inches

I love Willie. I’m a central Texas boy, I have a few dozen of his CDs, and I have seen Willie in concert. This figure is so fun and a great facsimile of Willie. It’s just perfect for a smile every time I see it. It was a great value for me because I’m such a fan. It was between $10-$15 and I’m glad I found it before it was gone. This is not something that will be opened and played with, so I can’t answer any questions parents might ask, or detailed questions about quality. If you are a fan of Willie Nelson, then this might be a fun figure for you. It’s so cute(?) that you might enjoy it even if you aren’t a fan.

I was only 7 years old when my mom took me to my very first real concert, to see Willie Nelson. I’m now 47, and have been a diehard fan ever since then. In fact, when my son was 7, I took him to his first concert, which also happened to be Willie Nelson! I’ve been extremely lucky to have seen him numerous times since that very first concert. So many times I’ve actually lost count! Willie was, is, and always will be special to me, as his music links 4 generations of my family, going all the way back to my grandparents right up to my son. My mom has since passed away, but when I listen to Willie’s music, it alway makes me feel a bit closer to her, and I know she’s still with us in a special way. I’m sure wherever she is, she’s still listening to Willie Nelson! Anyways, enough with my personal bio! Let’s get to the real matter at hand, the Funko Pop Willie Nelson Figure! I can pretty much sum it up in one word: AWESOME!!! Just like most other Funko’s, the figure is very detailed and authentic as far as the choice of distinct features, clothing, and accurate colors of paint. I gave it 5 stars, but would actually give it a 4.5 due to it’s one flaw...Funko Willie’s guitar looks brand spanking new, whereas real Willie’s guitar (named “Trigger”) is beautifully beat up and very well broken in. It’s covered in signatures and even has a hole worn in it as a result of many, many years of skillful playing. Having a good guitar is like having a great mate. As long as you’re making beautiful music together, you stick with each other forever. The figure would have been perfect (in my opinion) had Funko included that one extra, but I feel very important, detail. Other than the “too new” looking guitar, the Willie Funko is an excellent figure for any classic country fan to add to their collection. Not only for yourself, but as a excellent gift to any fellow Willie fans in your life!

I have nothing but good things to say about Willie Nelson and hope he lives forever. As one of my favorite people in the world, my collection of Funkos would be incomplete without him. The doll is exactly as pictured and I'm proud to have it. I will sit Willie right next to Dolly and soak up all the good energy they produce.
