Ordered this to make a custom hood for an aquarium. It was delivered in a box with extra cardboard layers on each side of glass to protect it during shipment, also having the protectant film still on both sides of glass. I was expecting it to get cracked or atleast the corners chipped during shipping, but to my surprise, it came in perfect condition. Not even a scratch. This stuff cut pretty easy using a dremel with cut-off wheel, and a makeshift strait edge to keep the cut running strait without veering off the marked cut line. After making all the cuts needed for it to fit perfectly, I did one more cut to give it the section on the front that will allow it to open. Then added a piano hinge to connect both pieces of the cut glass. I had to pre-drill the holes to add the piano hinge screws. Once again using my dremel to pre-drill all the holes. This plastic/glass was very easy to work with and handled everything I did without cracking or breaking. I was even able to run a file and quick heat gun down all the edges to clean up all the cuts back to a clear finish. After adding some clear handles, this looked great. I’m very happy with this purchase as it worked out with no issues. And yes, I would suggest others needing acrylic sheets for your projects to try this stuff out. I hope this review helps somebody out in some way.

The piece I ordered was as described. I was able to cut 2" off the length and cut the opening with no trouble. Perfect fit for my application.

I was happily surprised at the quality and thickness of the plexiglass. We are making it into a storm window for this winter. Our house is over a 100 years old and the windows are original, so storm windows will help us stay warm.

The plexiglass is fine but the paper attached to both sides is an absolute nightmare to get off. It has taken me hours to get the paper off 4 sheets. Its just awful.
