Drivers side motor installed wrong. Took several hours to correct. Wiring harness not great. Passenger side wiring not long enough for puddle lights, had to get wiring and extend. No directions with product, found a YouTube video to do install. I'm a seasoned at home mechanics still took all day to complete.

This is my second truck I have put amp research steps on. The first one was on a Tundra and everything was good but the motor would strip out every 5 years and need replacement. On my new 2023 ram 3500 these fit well and the motor design is different and looks like it should last longer. I gave it 4 stars because the pinch weld interferes with the boards on install and is a pain to get it to clear. The instructions literally say bounce on it. They should just design it with a slightly different clearance instead.

These are a must have for any larger truck my 2500 ram only has a leveling kit but makes it easier for anyone getting in and out and when your driving you don't even see them

My wife ordered these for Father's day, wanted them on before our Independence day trip. Amazon says diesel only, box arrived says gas only. Amp research confirms I have the wrong part. Amp customer service tells me I need to let Amazon know the ad is wrong... I don't think so.Now we are going on our trip without the boards, wife not happy.

These steps are the coolest thing you have ever seen. The installation instructions are good but electrical connections are a little iffy under the dash. A little trial and error where the activation plug goes got the job done. Not for the novice installer, but, not as difficult as you might think.

They look good fit good and are ready to install

I purchased one of the secondary buying options, with the description of some cosmetic damages to the product. This meant the overall price was cheaper. Somewhat of a gamble, but the description stated that there would be no loss of functionality. When the product arrived, it was missing significant amounts of mounting hardware and brackets (looked like it had been previously installed). I went and purchased the necessary hardware and mounting brackets (directly from the manufacturer) and after they were delivered I tried to install. HOWEVER. The idler/drive linkages are COMPLETELY incorrect. I believe they are for a Ford Super Duty series truck. This makes this entirely unusable. When I reached back out to AMP, they just told me to deal with Amazon which has absolutely no idea how to deal with this. Amp makes great products, but customer support is a nightmare if you're trying to get replacement parts.

You may have to trim some of the pinch seam but overall if works as intended!
