A great read! I was in England during the war and this brought back lots of memories, good and bad.

I met this man when I was a teenager and member of Air Cadet squadron 395 in Edmonton. The book had so many details of Douglas Bader that enhanced the war story.

true story of one of the most amazing men of WW2, British flyer. Lost both legs below the knee, went on to fly with RAF during WW2. a really great story and get the movie too.
