<y favorite tactical pen, writes well, very sturdy, solid but not too bulky or heavy!

Ordered this pen because I live in the mountains and needed a pen that would work in cold snowy conditions. Also for the heat of the summer. No running or globbing ink. Was exactly what I needed. Need an all weather pen? This is it.

Paint comes off the body of the pen super easily. Writes well enough for a fine tipped pen. I like the pen, but it could write a little bit smoother.

Great pen for the field or desk. I used the regular 701 and loved those. These pens are great and can be used as a field expedient impact device.

I tested it on a Denali climb using the pen from 6000ft to 172000ft. I had a Kestrel to confirm temperature. Pen is not reliable once temps go to 10F or less. If I blow on the tip and warm it up it begins to function for a bit until it gets cold again.Still for mountains that are much less significant than Denali like Rainier and Baker the pen works just fine at mundane temperatures.

Great pen strong won't break it or clip off like the lanyard loop. Writes good great zebra.

This color is only available overseas and is not available in Japan.It is mainly used in construction and disaster sites.It is very useful because it can be used on wet paper and upright.It is a little expensive.
