I like this food first of all because it's grain free. My Lila absolutely loves it and she can be picky about what she likes or doesn't like. It's priced where it's affordable, not hard to get. Her fur is very soft because of the seafood. She has no trouble digesting it and her bowel movements are normal. I keep it on hand even on a fixed income.

After trying soooo many different kinds and brands, finally one that he'll actually get into instead of a few bites here and there and walking away.

My vet recommended PPP for my kittens and that’s what I have been using. They liked the kitten food and moved into the adult food. I am thrilled with the quality of the product! However, the price has gone up $7/case in the last year and I had to switch to a more affordable Purina product. Really too bad. I do think it’s a very healthy option for my kitties!

I have three cats. Two are about the same age and the third is approaching 21 yrs of age. She’s a little slower these days but still very spry and active. She also wants fed ALL THE TIME! It was gettin g so I was feeding the girls 5-6 times a day. They were getting a bit—chunky.....while my old lady stayed skinny. I decided to try the high protein food with healthier ingredients so I could be sure she was getting the nutritional needs met and get the number of feedings down to a more reasonable regemine for all my girls. It seems to be helping so keeping fingers crossed!

I have an older cat who is very picky about what she eats and she took to this very well. Usually, she'll nibble at her food over time, but she ate an entire can of this at once. She even ate it with her medication mixed in (which sometimes puts her off her food).The consistency is good when the food is at room temperature. It's soft and easy for my cat to eat. After it's refrigerated (if there are leftovers), it becomes a little solid and needs to be thinning slightly with water to make it softer again (or warmed up). The smell isn't terribly strong so it's not obnoxious when you open the can.In terms of the effect on my cat's digestion, her toilet habits didn't change after eating this and she does sometimes have problems with too soft stools if she eats the wrong food. I take this as an indication that this was easy for her to digest. Also, the fact that she continues to eat it likely means it isn't upsetting her stomach as she will avoid food that causes her gastrointestinal distress. All in all, I'm pleased with this cat food.
