Not Sure If I got a Band Roll or if this stuff just sucks!
First of all, I am not an expert...I consider myself as an advanced beginner who wraps for fun and as a hobby. That said, I try to wrap something a couple times a week, always my own cars, family and friends. I have only used 3M, I bought this off the recommendation of a wrap expert. I have found that the string doesn't brake free from the filament as easy as the 3M does. Also, on nearly ever cut that I do get the string to brake free, the filament bunches up and causes crapy cut lines. After being supper frustrated and ruining two large sections on my Mercedes Revel van, I did a test, 10 TIMES! I used 3M and this stuff and did the exact same steps. 3M performed 100% of the time, this stuff only performed 20% of the time (100% when I cut the filament with my blade to brake the string free). I have a roll that I will not be using because I can not rely on it. In all fairness...It might have been a bad roll. I also want to point out, the string brakes supper easy so I give myself about 10" before the cut because the when the string does pop from the filament it takes a few tries. Lastly, it seems the filament is too strong for the string. I would love to try it again, but no way I would pay for a new roll.

Waste more than you use.
This product is equal to 3m. But in order to do it right, you got to leave at least 5" to 6". It's not as easy as it looks like on TV. I've tried doing different techniques and for some reason, I'm not getting the seemless effect, and yes, getting the green residual tape from under your vinyl is not only time consuming, but for the Newbie like me, the quality, and seamless joint isn't what I expected. I do just fine by hand, by over lapping, and only having to pull out 1 side of the vinyl. Sellers are cool. ✌😎

great low cost alternative to expensive knife-less tape
This is a great low cost alternative to expensive 3M brand knife-less tape. Sometimes the center string is a little bit hard to release from the tape, but I was able to complete my project without many issues. Highly recommended if you want to save a few bucks and still get a nice result.

Useful for any curves, more work to pull
I've tried both this and knifeless cut pro. They both have their advantages, cut pro being for perfect straight lines. With this tape, its absolutely perfect for those hard curved bends. Thats because the backing on this tape is thin and like thicker seran wrap. It has its disadvantages with that thought. The string is in middle rather than side like cut pro. This can make for a bad pull/misaligned if string yanks to either side. To fix this i detach string from backing and cut a slice down middle of backing, and then flatten back down on surface. Pull string up and it gives a starter point to cut down middle. More effort than other tapes, but again the major advantage of this tape is getting around those difficult curved bends.

Fantastic Alternative to 3M
I have used this knifeless tape countless times as a Vinyl Wrapper and can vouch for its utility and value. Although a very good product, it is not the best, since in my times of using it, I have figured that it leaves adhesive residue after utilization; the adhesive sometimes encounters problems bonding to compatible surfaces such as paint despite having cleaned the area thoroughly, requiring you to discard the current piece you laid down and using a new one, which cuts back in time and material.

Doesn't cut very straight and adhesive doesn't still well when applied
When it cuts smoothly then you get a straight line, but that's if everything goes according to plan and perfect. Most of the time the adhesive doesn't stick very well so you should want to preheat the knifeless tape first before putting your wrap over it. This will help the knifeless tape stick, but when you are cutting it will sometimes pull the green part contained the thread off the surface and then bunch up on the thread, this will cause your cut to be really jagged and ugly. In this case, you may want to try and use a knife to cut a tiny bit at where your thread is being stuck to help it get through. Overall this doesn't cut very well/smooth and can make some ugly lines when cutting.

Does not cut well if your vinyl has any thickness at all
While at first this tape gave me a good impression as the adhesion seemed pretty good, it quickly went downhill. The string in this tape is very weak and breaks with even the tiniest bit of force applied. It ended up denting and ruining the edge of the vinyl instead of actually cutting into it; starting the cut with a scissor/knife myself helped a bit, but the string didn't get far before snapping and the cut was not very clean. It could barely cut through one layer of vinyl, let alone two.

Poor quality compared to 3M
Just spend the few extra dollars and get the 3M version. This one doesn't adhere enough, and the plastic backing stretched and broke.I've used the 3M version before and it worked well, this one didn't.

Don't buy
Does not cut clean as it should, breaks , not very sticky, Have to start cut on edge of vinyl with knife. Good if your in a jam I guess

Rip off
Payed for 50M of tape and only received a roll that was 15M! Of course I bought it in advance for a project I would be doing so now the return window is closed.Great tape but the seller obviously put a smaller roll into a box that was 50M. Avoid this seller!
