Best, Confidence Inspiring Baby Nail Clippers
I'm a first time Mom of a 3 week old daughter and I just absolutely love these nail clippers. Before she was born, I didn't really see a need to buy separate nail clippers for her, I figured that I could just use my own. So many baby products are simply not necessary and never used. But for the price, I figured, I could risk it and just have them just in case. I was so lucky to have bought the right one on the first go. The choices for baby nail clippers are basically just miniature nail clippers, the ones with the magnifying glass and then this one with the safety bumpers and the light. I also decided to invest in these because plenty other Mommas out there had told me how baby nails are paper thin, hard to see, sharp as razors and many Mommas were still afraid to clip them in fear of accidentally hurting baby so they just put on those baby hand gloves instead (these prevent baby from scratching up their faces with their sharp little baby talons as they flail around in their first months of life). Once I had my little one, I finally understood what all the other Mommas were talking about. It's all true. Baby nails also grow so quickly and I'm finding that they need to be trimmed every three days or so. I'm only clipping a tiny, tiny little bit off at a time, but it's this little bit, that when left unchecked, really allow them to scratch up their faces and scratch me up too. They really are sharp!! I found that the best times to clip are when she's breastfeeding or when she's asleep. Since I'm using these all the time now, I really found them to be a Must-Have. These clippers are great because the light really does help A LOT. These little tiny fingers and tiny little nails are hard enough to see. Also, I'm clipping when she's napping/breastfeeding - this means usually I'm in bed with the lights on low. I'm definitely not doing this in bright sunlight or a brightly lit room - so the light on these really help. It allows her to not have to be bothered by bright lights while I have this handy little task light aimed precisely where I need it. The safety bumpers on either side of the clippers serve 2 functions: 1. holds the tiny LED lights 2. prevents you from sliding the clippers too far up her finger and clipping too much nail. In fact, between the size of the clippers and the safety bumpers, I find that the clippers pretty much fit right up against her nail perfectly for a safe and easy cut. This really makes it easier and is also really helps build my confidence in this task. I completely recommend this product. It's so fairly priced and it's such a necessary task that I would buy two. UPDATE: My baby is now over 4 months and I've been using these nail clippers since her birth. They are still going strong and I still love them. They work perfectly, the light is still a must have since the best time to clip her nails are still at night when she's sleeping. During this time, I've heard of many Moms who have accidentally clipped bits of finger while trying to clip baby nails to where there's blood and everything. I'm so grateful I haven't had an accident yet (knock on wood) and I feel like these clippers really help to minimize that risk greatly. Still highly recommend these!

Excellent nail cutter for 3 months and up
Excellent baby nail cutter, I couldn’t use it when my bag was under 3 months because her nails and fingers were so tiny so I used an electric nail filer yet. But once she was older than 3 months this nail cutter was perfect. I would cut her nail after she falls asleep (I let her nap on me, cut her nails, then put her in her crib), my baby is 15 months old now and I still use it every 1-2 weeks. Very safe and efficient. Highly recommended

Great for cutting tiny nails
Bought to clip my cats nails but he wasn't having it. They work great on tiny nails and have the built in light so you can see what you are doing

Used it from infancy thru 2nd grade
I've bought this 3x. Overall, I had no issues with it and first used it on a baby and currently still using it for 7 year old. I just purchased another bc we haven't had issues with it in general and my child also likes it -- one of the few connections to those baby days. The reviews for this product seems to be mixed so I thought I would provide another perspective. 1. complaints that the blade dulls after a few years and the clipper explodes mid clip: my exp: the blade seemed ok to me but i do admit each time i had to buy a new one, it was either b/c the arm broke (screw fell out) or bc the light died, but this last time, it DID explode...which..was shocking to us both. So i understand understand the concerns of parents with smaller children or babies bc that is dangerous. 2. light is too bright: it is pretty bright but we found it useful (although you do suffer a little aftereffects for a few mins after using such bright lighting for 5 mins). I would say the clippers are usually good for the first 2 yrs and maybe be wary if you are using them into 3+ yrs. the last one i had was probably about 5 years old when it recently broke. This may be the last time we will buy this 2pack as my child's hands are getting bigger, so by the time this breaks, it will be fine to use the regular clippers. ps - i did cut my baby's skin and shed blood around the 2-3 month mark but i think it was more my inexperience first time cutting a tiny human's teeny tiny nail than the clipper. in retrospect, i think it is probably better to just file your child's nails and wear little mitts till at least 3-4 months.

Best nail clipper for babies
This is 100% worth the money. As a new mom I was terrified of cutting my son’s nails. This product helped so much! It’s sharp and has an automatic bright light so you can see what you’re doing. It fits easily in my hand and has a good grip so you’re not fumbling around with it. Love the color too because it makes it easy to find.

Required baby item
These are my go to baby shower gift. I've probably bought 8 pairs. They are amazing and 100% required for cutting kids finger nails IMO. I have a pair that's over 10 years old that I use on my kids to this day and they still light up (how is that possible?!).

Necessary for every mom with a baby or toddler. Being able to trim nails at night when the baby is asleep is wonderful!

I usually don’t write reviews but this one is the best nail clipper I’ve ever owned. Highly recommended and the light at the end gives such clarity.
