I always drive with this shade on the driver's side in the morning as the sun rises on that side of my car when I drive to work. You can see through it, but it obscures the vision a bit. Since it's rather small, it doesn't take out the whole space on my side window, so it's OK. I take it off when I don't need it and just set it on the passenger's seat. it's just a matter of pulling it off. It sticks easily and doesn't fall off. It doesn't look nice from the outside, but I don't really care. I'm no longer blinded by the sun, which is the important part. You can't beat the price. When I have passengers, and they happen to sit in the sun, I hand one to them to make their ride more comfortable. It's a great invention.

Use this in our car! It fit really well in my car window (suv), but did not fit in my husbands car window (small suv). There is still some sunlight that gets in, but it dramatically helps with the heat! It is easy to fold as well
