Fits a 30 lbs Turkey !
This pan replaces one I had that my mom used through many years. It is everybit as sturdy and even better designed because of the side handles and the matching top!Looking forward to many years of use.

Love, Love, Love this roasting pan!,,, A must have.
This roaster is exactly what I was looking for. I purchased it for my Christmas and Thanksgiving turkeys. I always cook 20+ pound birds and they fit perfectly. The pans came really well wrapped and arrived on time. This is a two piece set and with the handles on the ends you can actually use both pieces to cook in. On a side note, the roaster fills the oven; so when you want to take it out, pull the rack out to access the handles. If not, you run the risk of burning yourself and then dropping a huge pan of food.I use the bottom alone for my turkey because I use a cooking bag. I have also roasted a 22 lb ham in this unit and it came out perfectly. If you are looking for a blemish free piece of cookware, don't go with Granite Ware. It is old fashioned cookware that lasts forever, but it isn't always pretty. My original piece is 20+ years old and still going strong. We have used the new pans three or four times and have noticed no defects that would interfere with cooking use. Easy to clean and top stores nestled in bottom. I bought two because once you have it you will find all types of cooking uses for it. I have trouble keeping them at home because my children are always borrowing them. Just remember, they are not only big, they are huge. Just what every holiday chef needs for those large family get togethers.

Great pan for large turkey
This pan was used to cook a 24 lbs turkey. The turkey fit with plenty of room to spare. The non-stick coating worked very well and I was able to clean it without a scrubber. I highly recommend this pan.

IT LITERALLY WAS FALLING APART!
SOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!I ordered this as a gift. I have one that is probably 50 years old and though it would be a great, long-lasting gift. The package took forever to arrive (not their fault) it sat for 2 weeks at a post office). It came in a large box that was dented in. I was concerned there would be dents in it, but the actual problem was the piece was falling apart. I had pieces of graniteware everywhere except where it should have been. I can't understand how this could be, unless the manufacturing has gone to the birds. It's worse than stuff from China!

I will pass this on to my daughter
Purchased this pan in 2023 for Thanksgiving. Last years turkey was great, cooked perfectly in the pan. This year, I was so impressed that I ran here to leave a review. My turkey was perfectly browned, moist and literally falling off the bone. I used a garlic herb butter under the skin and loaded the cavity and pan with stuffing and it was perfectly cooked in about 4 hours, not bad for a 20lb stuffed turkey. I highly recommend this pan, I promise you will not be disappointed. Picture is of the turkey at the 2 hour mark and just before cooking, I wasn’t able to get one of the finished product.

A Nice Roaster
Here is the story:My grandmother gave her big oval enamel roaster that looked just like this one to my mother about 30 years ago (and she had it for a long time before that). That thing was a tank that lasted forever and worked great, until my brother-in-law dropped it a 'few' times in the driveway and the two pieces no longer fit together and the coating was chipping off.Since it was time to get a new roaster, the only change I wanted to make was to jump up to rectangular so that more space was available inside. This one holds a 22 lb turkey on a rack without any problems, and it does a beautiful job on the bird.I really wanted to be able to give 5 stars, but I couldn't. When I picked up the roaster with the bird in it, the handles bent/flexed slightly under the load, and the enamel popped off of the inside of the roaster behind the weld locations for the handles. There are now 4 dime sized locations where you can see down to the steel, but at least they will be well above the water line. I think the handles have stabilized at their new locations, so it should last for years (I hope!). Structurally I can see how the oval style roaster would be less susceptible to flexing than the rectangular roaster. If I have to do it again, I will probably go oval and hope that my rack will still fit - but I would stick with this company.Pro - Made in the USA

sharp edges
The pan(s) are nice, huge and I like them BUT, unlike most bakeware, it does not have rolled edges. I kind of like that because it seems that's always where the pans I've had in the past, end up rusting. However, caution is needed, little attention is paid to the raw edge of the pans when the enamel is applied, the (unsprayed or dipped)edges are sharp enough to cut fingers under the right circumstances. just don't run your fingers along the outer edges.
