This food keeper preserves lettuce freshness longer than any other container I have used. Buy it!

I purchased this product for my fruits and veggies. Works especially well for romaine lettuce. I bought two bundles of the lettuce that were a bit wilty, they did not look very fresh. I rinsed them, cut off the bottom core and stored them in the large container. The next day they were fresh and crisp! Wonderful results. The lettuce stays fresher longer, too. I have since bought another set. Great product!

I was disappointed these did not keep my fresh fruit and vegetables fresher longer.

I'm always skeptical about something that is supposed to keep fruits and vegetables fresh. I can attest to this product. The romaine lettuce I cleaned on a Sunday was still fresh and crisp by the following Saturday. My granddaughter loves berries and they spoil so fast. This keeps berries fresh for several days.

I love these containers. My veggies have never lasted so long. I made a mistake and bought too many larger ones. I needed more small ones. You can cut up small amounts of veggies for salads and put in the small. Now i think they need a mini size too. . The big one is good for whole carrots, cucumbers and grn onions. Yes I put them together. Oh don't forget your peppers in a med one. Lettuce heads last a long time in the large one. Lettuce leaves whole like red or green last a long time too. I have had to set the containers in the veggie drawers due to fridge space limited, Happymunching!

I think this was a poor purchase.

Honestly, I forget what I paid for this item, but since it has increased how long I can keep salad around by about a week, or more, per bag it has to be paying for itself relatively quickly. Before purchasing this item, a regular bag of store bought salad, or a head of iceberg lettuce would last only a matter of three-ish days before going all soggy and nasty. I had to be committed to having salad with every evening meal or I would end up throwing some away. Now I can keep the same amount of lettuce around for up to ten days, sometimes longer. It came with a small container that I use to keep my sliced mushrooms in. I recommend this product!

Like both of these. If kept in the refrigerator for more than 3 or 4 days, condensation does start to appear. Doesn't affect the food, so far.
