Would buy again!
LOMTAP really nailed it with this C stand. Overall sturdiness is excellent – it feels rock solid once everything is locked in, and it held my NEEWER FS150B LED light with zero wobble or sag. The stand quality and build quality are both impressive for this price point: the stainless metal feels premium, the knobs tighten down confidently, and the joints don’t feel flimsy or cheap. In terms of functionality, the kit gives you everything you need to get going: a tall 10.8 ft vertical pole, 4.2 ft boom arm, 2 grip heads, 3 clips, and the water sandbag. It’s easy to adjust, position, and balance, and it works great for softboxes, reflectors, and heavier lights. The carry bag is a nice bonus for keeping everything together, though it’s more of a storage/transport bag than a padded “throw it around” case. For durability, it feels like it’ll hold up to regular use without any issues; the metal construction inspires confidence. Naturally, because it’s stainless and heavy duty, the weight is on the heavier side – but that’s also what makes it so stable, so it’s a tradeoff I’m happy with. Considering the performance and included accessories, I’d rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars for value for money and would definitely buy it again.

Beefy and able to get REALLY tall
I see a couple reviews where people call this stand lightweight and low quality - I honestly wonder if they ordered some other product? This C stand is one of the beefiest things I own, and I just ordered a second one. The base telescopes to well over 10 feet - maybe 12 or 13 feet tall. That's not including the arm which could be extended even higher to 15 feet or more - I'm not sure what you want to do this for (we're contemplating rescuing a stuffed Elmo doll from a ledge high above my vaulted foyer with the stand and I once needed a VERY long pole to retrieve a drone from a tree. Or maybe you could attach it to your Delorean with a copper hook to catch that power cable suspended above Main Street.) Anyway, back to the matter at hand - as it stands (ha!) this thing is very heavy and the hardware is sturdy and does not loosen over time. I love the sound of slotting the main mast into the base - a sort of machined metal 'ZIP'. The bag is great so far and I toss a few extra things into it like tape and a roll of paper for blacking out windows and such. I bought some extra sandbags in preparation for this stand I have not needed them at all - suspending an LED panel light above a standing subject was not enough to make this stand unstable. If I really stretched to find some negatives, it would be that the foam handle part slides fairly easily up and down (but who cares?) and the plastic clips are useful but they don't really attach snugly to the supplied arm - they are larger than the arm so they slide back and forth so you can either clamp, say, a light diffuser directly to the arm, catching it between the clamp teeth and the arm, or get the fancy c stand clamps that actually affix to the arm and then tighten down on whatever thing. Or maybe stick a piece of cloth in the gap and that might snug it up. That's about it. This C stand rocks. It's a good deal for how many uses on of these has. The bag works well, looks pro, and holds extra stuff. Edit: My second stand is just as great as the first. The bag for the second stand arrived with a hole in the corner. I'm shopping now for a solution for carrying both stands securely.

Strong base, Durable and Great Investment
Easy installation and can be used for lots of video applications. Hanging lights, green screens, reflectors, audio mics, diffusers, backdrops, even hanging stage clothes! Weight is solid, durable and holds up well.

Skeptical at First
I was skeptical at the Black Friday price and the quality of this stand, but I gotta' say it was definitely worth the money! The stand is great! heavy-duty, well-made, sturdy as heck. Easily supports my Godox lights w/softbox diffusers, and the thing is built like a tank!

A solid choice!
Well built, easy to set up and configure and very convenient to carry around with the included bag. Clamps provide an extra level of versatility. I think I'd rather use some dedicated sandbags than the one included, but it could get the job done in a pinch. Extremely stable, but obviously some care is needed with heavier lights attached. I love the "cushion" when the stand drops down on itself - nice that it doesn't slam metal on metal. Recommended!

LOVE THIS C STAND ... except for the boom arm
First, LOMTAP took forever to ship this. I'm not sure what happened or why but it took a week for it to show up despite it being a Prime purchase. Not only that, they didn't ship the product until two days before it arrived. I plan to buy more of these in the future and hope this isn't a regular practice of them. That out of the way, let me just say that these stands are AWESOME. The actual "C stand" part has an incredible texture, is extremely sturdy, and just feels like it's built to last ... even if it's abused. The gobo heads it comes with are acceptable and do their job. Love the water bag weights that I can adjust based on the equipment I have attached. Best of all, they're BLACK which makes them look far less garish when compared to other (silver) C stands. These are incredible and for the cheap Amaran lights that I'm attaching to them, they get the job done. The only problem is that the boom pole that comes with them is crazy thing and quite bendy. I don't know if that's a common theme across all C stands (it very well could be as I've seen many a video showing some bendy C stand booms) but it makes me quite uneasy. I'm planning to replace the boom with a heavy duty boom ... but that means I have to spend more money on this and at that rate, it would've made sense to go with a different brand altogether and just get everything in one go. Despite all that, I plan to buy more of these because I just can't get over how they feel and how they pretty much include every single thing you'll need for these (best of all: they include a cheapy case that helps in transportation of these things). If you buy these, you won't be disappointed. Just be prepared to wait a bit for shipping ... and be aware that the boom is really only able to support maybe a few pounds of weight before it starts getting bendy and scary.

Great for Travel & General Use
I love these lightweight C-Stands. Robust enough for most applications, light enough to travel well. My favorite feature is the feature that grips hate the most and it's the easily detachable and "clickable" legs. I get their downsides, I really do, but when I need to bring 2 or 3 general-use C-Stands to a shoot and I want to drive my hatchback, I'm always going for these over the classic style. Bonus, I also use these all the time at home for random stuff like worklight placement, drying clothes, holding up things while I do home-improvement stuff, hanging items to spray-paint, etc. Even if you don't work in some kind of production environment I really think this is a general-use tool you should just get for your home.

so useful for many things!
you can't go wrong with a nice sturdy C stand and this one does the job. I use this for my YouTube videos and a little bit of photography. you can mount light on this, reflectors, use this as a Boom mic. I've mounted my camera to it as well. great for those overhead shots for tutorials or a 2nd point of view. now lets talk about quality. the quality is very good, but it's a little bit behind my Neewer C stand that I've purchased last year. the Lomia has a less refine finish. it's much more shiny. where as the Neewer has a nice smooth matted finish. Both stands do the same job. both Stands weigh almost the same. the Neewer weighs a little heavier, I think this is due to the legs being a few inches longer and higher. the Lomia C stand does come with a very nice carrying pouch if you ever need to move this to a different location. also comes with clamps to be used with reflectors. overall I'm happy with it. it's solid metal and will definitely hold up for a very long time. the only thing I didn't like about it was the cosmetics...it just didn't "look" as nice as the Neewer but hey they both do the same job and work great.
