Dont worry about the negative reviews, worked great
I waited a week to review. I connected the USB to my PS4 and then linked it with a Soundbar through Bluetooth. Setup was very easy, turn on bluetooth search on soundbar and hold button on this USB until it flashes fast, linked right up. Then go into device settings on PS4 to change "Headset Sound" from Chat to All Sound if you want to use a Bluetooth speaker instead of chat on headset. I did have to relink once in a week bc it didnt connect right away but usually it connects right away. Dont worry about the negative reviews, I was worried but it worked great.

Skip this, try another copycat transmitter.
Was excited to use this to connect my AirPods to my PS4. Was able to pair it but if you remove the USB transmitter you will have to pair it again. Not a problem, easy to do. The issue is it doesn’t work well at all. Either you are getting horrible tone feed back in the back ground which you are forced to turn the remote sound to Max volume or you get static feed back and disconnects every 3 seconds or so. It will not stay connected at all and normally something this cheap I wouldn’t return but I’m going to return it so the seller gets charged for it.

Great quality and easy pairing
This device works great. I used this with bt kitty edition and no issues. It is easy to pair them. The sound quality is good, for mic is ok. The mic is better when connected to pc or cellphone. Overall, I do recommend this product since is not expensive and for the price it works great.

PS4 and Airpods: Great for listening, bad for chat
TLDR: sound going out to your headphones is great, the microphone for chat is very weak. This review is specifically for using to connect AirPods to a PS4.I really wanted to use my AirPods with my PS4 to do online chat with my friends w/o a huge, bulky headset or any wires, so after some internet research I bought both this and the Avantree Leaf (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q3CBZZJ/) for a side-by-side. Both had pros/cons once I got them in-hand, but let's focus on the one I'm posting a review for...LISTENINGThe USB adapter is very solid at broadcasting audio to your Bluetooth headphones. Paring is quick and easy, audio quality is solid as expected. Nothing special on this front but it works for this, and works well. If you just want to listen to your PS4 audio on headphones and not chat, this is a solid buy for the price.CHAT/MICROPHONEHOWEVER the USB adapter is NOT compatible with the mic on AirPods, only the audio send out to the AirPods. One thing the listing doesn't make super clear (but you can tell from pics looking closely) is that the microphone dongle is a live microphone; it does not relay the microphone signal from your headset. The mic dongle is pretty weak and very directional; playing with your hands/controller in a standard position means your voice can barely be heard. You can either lift your controller closer to your face (let's be real, nobody is doing that), or more likely turn the mic sensitivity up in the PS4 menu so your voice comes through. But when you do that the button presses on the controller become VERY loud in the group chat (trade one problem for another, no good solution). I'm a loud dude too, so if it can't even pick up my no-consideration-for-the-neighbors constant yelling very well without max sensitivity, it won't pick up anything very well.Again, this experience is very specific to PS4 and AirPods. I cannot comment on whether other headsets have better luck with the mic send/receive or not. And if you don't want voice chat, the cons are irrelevant to you.Overall, it was cheap ($16) so I'm going to keep it as a backup rather than wasting time/energy returning it, but if you're using it for the same application as me, be aware that there are limitations.

Worked with my Raycon E25s.
I was looking for a solution to pair my Raycon E25s with my PS4 and after a little bit of work I was able to get this to work. The device fits easily into the PS4 USB port and after following the supplied directions... it didn't work. Frustrated I tried a few more times, but still nothing. For whatever reason, I decided to try it in my computer and it worked immediately. After that I placed the dongle in the first USB port on my system and it worked again. Just remember to set the "Output Device" to "USB Headphones." The sound is a bit trebly, not sure if this is necessarily due to the bluetooth module or my headphones, but it does work and not really all that expensive. I plan to try this with some other over the ear type headphones, but I have confidence that those should work as well. So far worth purchasing.
