I love the adjustability. Often drywall is higher than the sill plate. I can slip these on the lvp and crank the adjustment under the drywall and to the sill plate. The only trick sometimes is getting it back out. So I just take my Olfa knife to either side and make drywall gap taller and slide it over when I’m done. These are sturdy and don’t move. Great project. Costly each but once you have them…..

I saw these advertised on the web site, "So that's how you do it." My Grandson and I were laying down a Luxury Vinyl Laminate Floor. I have used other fasteners to hold the first few rows in place and they never worked well. These were outstanding and are easy to use and really, really hold the rows in place. I bought a total of 3 packages and I couldn't be more pleased with the simple yet effective device.

These work great for installing LVP. It's easy to adjust them for bowed walls and when you are finished you can loosen them up and they come right out.

Love these.. better than any other floor shim. One small drawback.. the serrated edges can grip flooring edges, so if you don’t leave room (expanding shims), removal can be difficult.. A simple fix, but should be remedied by mfg.

These things are fantastic. I did my whole house in vinyl planks and these adjustable spacers are a godsend. The reason is that they are adjustable, unlike the standard 1/4 inch spacers. They adjust to fit uneven walls so that your first row of planks will stay in perfect parallel place for all the following rows. You need at least two four-packs, unless you're just doing a small bathroom. These I used for the longest portion of the planks, while using the standard 1/4 inch spacers (not the cheap big-store kind, but the large ones that don't slip out, which you you can buy here on Amazon, too) for the ends.The cost isn't too high, and they eliminate the exasperation of trying to install the second row onward when the first row planks keep moving out of parallel.

I have laid many floors using the old shim style wedges and the frustration was high. I used Bessy squares and it cut down my time of aligning the first row by 90 percent. They were easy to use and didn't fall over like traditional shims. Using the dial I could adjust for the warped wall. They kept everything in line without moving. They were the best investment that I could have given myself. I did 4 rooms without transition and they held the flooring until I was done. The removal from the wall was so easy, just turn the dial and lift out. I would recommend this product to everyone.

While this flooring spacer shows promise, it falls short due to a couple of notable flaws:Unreliable Spacing: Despite initially setting the desired gap, the spacers fail to maintain it as you continue to tap the flooring together they compress. A locking mechanism on the dial could potentially solve this issue, ensuring that the gap remains consistent throughout the installation process.Challenges in Removal: Another notable flaw is encountered when attempting to remove the spacers after installation. As the flooring is tapped against them, they often become firmly wedged in place. Even when attempting to reverse the dial, especially at the minimum gap setting, there are ridges on the lip of the spacers that catch on the flooring and damage the flooring during removal.Despite these drawbacks, I would consider using them again with caution, keeping these design flaws in mind. With some improvements, this could be a highly effective tool for flooring installation.

Best spacers I ever used.The spacers make it easy to adjust the first line of flooring to the straight line ( laser).They are sturdy enough to whitstand light tapping from the tapping block .On this particular flooring 9 mil thick vynil flooring was used but it also works with 6 mil ( see photos.Definitely 5 stars.

Have to say I do prefer these over the cheaper standard wedge type spacers.These are a lot sturdier to use, less likely to move or adjust, great to use if your adjacent walls are not quite straight, you can just twist the mechanism of each to help you increase the gap to get your flooring straight.Due to these being on the more expensive side over regular spacers, I would say to just use these on your two starting walls flooring edges and then use the regular spacers for the other walls.Recommend to buy probably at least 8 of these if not 12 if you can afford it, this should do the job depending on your room size. Then just stock up on extras in the future when you can to have enough to use all around the room.

Ich hatte in vier Räumen Vinyl Boden als Anfänger zu verlegen. Im ersten Raum habe ich klassische Holzkeile verwendet mit dem Ergebnis, dass beim festklopfen der Keile die Kante der Vinyl Dielen gebrochen ist. Dann habe ich in YouTube Videos empfohlene Kunststoff Keile verwendet. Ergebnis: zunächst muss man begreifen, wie man die Keile verwendet, damit die Verzahnung ordentlich greift. Hat man das herausgefunden, kann man den Abstand zwar gut einstellen, es bleibt aber in sich ein wackeliges System. Die Keile klemmen nicht richtig mit der Wand und dem Vinyl, da das Vinyl mit 4 mm zu flach ist.Also wieder auf die Suche gemacht und zufällig über diese "Keile" gestolpert. Super einfach und intuitiv zu verwenden!! Sie fühlen sich wertig an und haben eine gewisse Schwere. Kein Billigplastik Schrott. Einfach Dielen ausrichten, die Keile an die Kante legen und mit dem roten Drehrad den Abstand zur Wand fixieren. Der Abstand bleibt erhalten. Verringern kann man den Abstand nur, wenn man das Rad zurück dreht. An der Anlegekante ist eine kleine Nase, die unter die Feder/Nut greift. Da verrutscht nichts mehr.Ich habe diese Keile für den letzten Raum nachgekauft, da es einfacher ist die Keile bis zum Schluss an der Position zu lassen anstatt immer "nachzurücken".Ich bin begeistert, einfaches Produkt, genau so zu verwenden wie vom Hersteller beschrieben. Wiederverwendbar. Macht Spaß damit Böden zu verlegen.
