Although the heads are at a right angle, the question IS of course is it the correct right angle. Since midi jacks are either in an up or down position on devices, not much is to be gained making the cord go up or down. IN fact, it doesn't help at all. If you need a double right angle this would not be the thing to buy. It was made well and does "DO" it's specific job.

I needed a MIDI cable to master/slave two guitar amps. This cable worked great - high quality and the right length to give me decent stereo separation between the two amps. The right angle connectors help reduce strain on the jacks.

it's ok … The chord angle is upside down. That means that it angles up when plugged in.

Does the job.
