I was hesitant to hit the buy button at this price, but thought what the heck, you only live once. And it was a birthday treat for my coffee loving friend.It came through the post pretty quickly and she came over to my place to try it together, it's definitely an experience worth sharing. From opening the packaging and getting the right coarseness, it reminded me that coffee brewing is an art form that's lost with all these fast barista coffee chains. So our best and most careful coffee preparation and then carefully putting the coffee into my French press and waiting for the results. I let it steep just a little longer than my usual coffee , so we could get all the flavors out and once poured into our cups we sipped it slowly and with a perhaps over critical eye (well I had paid alot of money for it so I was expecting a good cup of coffee)... well it doesn't disappoint, some really unique flavors, lovely aroma and what suprised my friend the most, no bitterness or kind of roast taste. It didn't have the strong caffeine kick that I like in my coffee but this is probably not meant to be your morning caffeine jolt to get you going, this is to be savoured, taking your time to make it and enjoy it slowly.Then of course, the whole thing of elephant care and being ethically better than kopi luwak really made me feel like I was doing good and in a small way doing my part to help elephants. If they benefit in some small way from me buying and drinking this coffee that's cool.

I enjoy trying coffee from all over the world. I have had my eye on this for a while and finally decided to make a go at it! I am glad I did. I brewed it 2 different ways and I enjoyed them both. My family tried it as well. They could not believe how the coffee was made. They just stared at me; like is this a joke! But, at the end of their cup. They said they would definitely go in with me to get some more! I can tell you many things about this coffee. But I will tell you this one thing! You will taste it and then simply look and simply say; wow! This is nice! Enjoy!!!

Gave it as a Christmas gift and it was a great hit! They, those I gave the gift to, claimed they had never tasted anything that good before. Cost was the only bad thing but as they say, You get what you pay for and if you want the best in the world, you have to pay for it.

It what good. Expensive, but good. A rare treat, not bought very often
