XPEL Quality
You end up paying more for a name brand such as XPEL however they are considered one of the leading companies in PPF for auto applications. The instructions are well written and there are videos online to help guide you through the installation process. Don't worry about small air bubbles that may be present after you apply the film to your sills as they disappear in a couple of weeks of drying out. The XPEL product provides an easy way to give your car the paint protection where you need it with professional looking results.

Easy to install & durable
Still looks good! Very good quality.Reasonable price and relatively easy to install.Would buy again! Used on a brand new Jeep compass & the leftover pieces on a 2010 wrangler.

Easy to use!!!
Easy to install. Would be 5 stars but agree with other reviews that there isn't enough for a 4 door car. If they added another 1-2 feet it would be great.

Super easy DIY
After watching lots of youtube installation vids, I simply filled a 16 ounce spray bottle with tap water and a maybe a tablespoon of baby shampoo. Shook it up, sprayed door sill area and adhesive side of PPF. Just peel away the protective backing ( like on a bandaid ) to expose sticky side. It's meant to work with slippery solution so spray away. The small included squeegee works well but I managed to squeeze out most of the solution just by using my fingers. I only wanted to cover the horizontal area of my door sill . . . not the areas that start to bend up towards the A and B pillars so this 2.75 inch wide strip was perfect. The first door sill took me almost 15 minutes because I was super cautious. By the time I got the the fourth? 5 minutes. Done. Looks great. Very pleased with product.

Not long enough!
Not long enough! Film wasn’t enough to finish my 2025 Mazda CX5. Barely got 3 doors done. Rip off. Having to pay almost $50 for two rolls of this is a joke. Also only recommended if you have a flat surface to apply to. Curved lips on your sills will be challenging to apply the film too with lots of bubbles.

Works as described, every time
I have installed XPEL onto the door sill of every vehicle I have owned over the past 10 years. The product works exactly as described. It is a low profile completely transparent protective strip. The previous installation on my sedan lasted for eight years without any discolouration, lifting, or bubbles. I recently installed this onto both my vehicle and my wife's vehicle. The installation instructions and videos are spot-on for how to install the product. My only additional tip for installation is to use a very liberal amount of the soap/water solution. When doing so, if you use a liberal amount of the solution, one is able to slide the strip into the final position and then squeegee it in place. In the chance that you make an error, it is easy to lift up one side of the strip and spray additional soap/water solution before reapplying. I was able to remove virtually all small bubbles from each of the stips for all four door sills. Do not worry about any additional small imperfections or remaining fluid under the strips. Over time, this will evaporate.Make sure to thoroughly clean the surface with an alcohol-based solution to remove any debris or oils. I have gone over each sale individually two to three times prior to installation. This will avoid having to remove the wet strip to read any debris and then reapply.I have not taken one of the protective strips off. Therefore, I cannot comment on any issues with removing or damaging paint. However, from what I have read it is compatible with exterior paint and should cause no damage after removal. For the price, this is a great investment in keeping a high traffic area of your vehicle like new. When installed, it is virtually invisible to the naked eye. I will continue using XPEL products to protect all my vehicles.

super easy to use!!
I was a little concerned that this stuff might be difficult to use. Actually, it couldn't have been easier- simple to reposition if you don't get it the right spot on the first try. I used it to protect the rear bumper on my Chevy Bolt EV from scratches from my dogs jumping in and out. Any air bubbles you miss will dry out after a few days. Is really almost invisible once it's applied. Great stuff!
