’ve been using these nippers on my clients for a while now and am impressed with the build quality. They are clearly made from high-grade stainless steel—I’ve seen zero signs of rust even after multiple sterilization cycles. They feel sturdy in the hand and have a clean, powerful cut. ​The only reason for four stars instead of five is the tip thickness. While they work well for most tasks, I find that nippers with a slightly thinner, more tapered end allow for better precision when getting into tight sulci or clearing deep ingrown corners. Great workhorse tool, but a finer point would make them perfect.

This is my first toenail clipper so I have nothing to compare it to. What I can say is that it’s comfortable in my hand and easy to use. This clipper is very sharp and does a great job on my nails, I have no problems using it. The clipper comes in a nice metal tin for storage. There is also a plastic sheath that fits over the blade end to protect it and you. It then fits neatly into the cut-out space perfectly. I use an alcohol pad to wipe the blades with after use because I am the only one who uses it. It would be easy to rinse it with soap and water as long as you are careful of the sharpness of the blades. I think it’s worth the money for such a great all-around clipper as it easily trims hangnails, too.
