My purchase of the Mushroom Jerky, Organic, Vegan Snacks, Mushrooms Shiitake, Meatless Jerky, Gluten Free, High in Fiber, Variety Pack of Original, Zesty Thai, Salt & Pepper, BBQ (2.2 Ounce, Pack of 4) arrived today, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by the rich, savory flavors and the perfect texture that this mushroom jerky offers. Each variety in the pack brings its own unique twist, making every snack time an exciting experience. Whether you're a fan of the classic Original flavor, the bold Zesty Thai, the simple yet satisfying Salt & Pepper, or the smoky BBQ, there's something in this pack to delight your taste buds. Not only is this snack absolutely delicious, but it's also incredibly healthy. With each serving containing just 100-130 calories, it's a guilt-free pleasure that I can enjoy anytime. I watched the Shark Tank episode (replay) and they gushed about the taste and smell. Um, not sure if this is the problem, but the packaging says it's a new recipe. And if the Shark-Tankers tasted this version, they would not have been interested in the company at all. Not sure if the recipe changed to provide longer shelf life -- or ?? But, it's not good. I bought the sample pack -- 4 different flavors. All taste strongly of shiitake mushroom. And, I do love shiitake mushrooms, but it was not a pleasant taste for jerky. I had a couple neighbors also taste-test -- it was a consensus...we will all pass if ever offered again. Even if it was offered for free, none of us would want it again. I had such high hopes -- as I love all kinds of Jerky. In the end, I gave them to my dogs as snacks.

I can't believe how much I like these. I'm a meat eater, but I'll grab these first. I do wish the flavors were a little more intense, but I get over that pretty quickly.

I'm torn because they taste good and are an easy, healthy snack. But OH MY they are so hard to chew. Some of the flavors more than others. I have to break them up into smaller pieces and chew gently so they don't bother my teeth.

Really tasty stuff I had bought originally at Sierra Trading Post. It's cheaper there for the quantity you get. Will absolutely buy again and again. Fungi fanatic 5 stars!!!

We sent this as a gift after seeing it on shark tank, and the feedback was that they tasted like old moldy socks.

I’ve tried all the sad cardboard snacks out there. These are different. They’re legit. Unfortunately, like most if not all of you, I decided to buy Pan's after seeing the raving reviews on shark tank. Despite the overwhelmingly negative product reviews, I had a nagging urge to try this becauase who knows... Well after our first bite, both my brother and I had to spit out the jerky because it was so chewy. After trying all four flavors, each one was just as inedible as the next. The original has absolutely no taste. The only one with a bit of flavor is the Zesty Thai, but even that is overshadowed by the chewiness. To make matters worse, the portions are incredibly small for almost $10 a package. To be perfectly honest, I am guessing the sharks got a specialty made sample batch and general customers are given generic factory line jerky. Given the abundance of negative reviews, it seems Pan's really needs some fine tuning.
