This little cat really lives up to its promise. It's pretty, the colors are bright and precisely painted, and to my amazement, the battery life is astonishing. I bought this in April and it's still on its first battery! I bought it as a fun but inexpensive gift to myself, and it was well worth it. For all these months I've been able to look across the room and see the kitty cheerfully waving at me and give myself a smile.

I would like to understand why the Monkey King does not protect the battery.

Not worth wasting your money. Very poorly made.

With all the negative reviews about the noise when battery operated, I opted to not use the battery. I set it up where the airflow from the heater and air conditioner hits and it waves quietly whenever the air blows down on it. I love it.

The ground-spring was out of position, which made getting proper contact with the (-) pole of the battery difficult, so I had to move it. Its arm came apart, but I was able to put it back together. Now, it works, and it looks good. You get what you pay for.

I love this Maneki Neko cat! I have one in gold, I love black cats so I needed to have it also. It is well made and uses a AA battery. The only problem is that the description said it had a battery cover and it didn’t come with one.
