Have this connected to a MacBook 12inch from a USB-C hub. The actual USB-C Hub has an ethernet, HDMI connected to a 4K monitor, Power to mains, and 2 x USB 3.0 with a web cam and external storage device connected to it. All inputs are working fine, no issues with display and the MacBook is also showing that it is connected to power. And with the length, it definitely gives me a piece of mind that not too much physcial force is being put on the usb-c port of the MacBook.

This cable is a good value, being longer than other competing listings and of course it works fine. I use this to connect a USB hub (with HDMI and charging) to my laptop. It's powered by USB-C so I plug my charger to the hub and then the hub through this extension cable to the laptop and it's charged fine. The long length allows me to hide the hub away and keep my desk clean. In short: it's cheap and it works.

Have been using this hub for around 2.5 months, connecting to it an HDMI monitor, a usb keyboard and a wireless mouse (the usb mouse receiver connected to the hub). And since the cable is too short i had to buy a usb extension cable. with the extension it works perfectly with my window PC, and i am happy with it. But with the Macbook pro it doesn't recognize the mouse or the keyboard, only the monitor. It can only work without the extension cable. And the setup i have on my desk i can't not use the extension cable, so I can't use my Mac with this Hub. I am only giving it 3 stars because either make the cable longer or do something with the USB ports to work with Macbooks.

My new PC has few interfaces and one USB-C connector which is located on the right hand side of the machine. Looked at various US-C type docks, but all have short cables and straight connectors, which means the dock is right where my mouse is (I am right-handed). I needed some way to extend the USB-C port. This cable seems to work perfectly for that. It has a right-handed connector so the cable now heads directly to the back of the PC where it is connected to the dock which tucked neatly away behind my desk.

This was the only USB 3.1 Gen 2 extension cable that I could find on Amazon, as I'd already tried to search for USB E.1 Gen 2 Type-C cables longer than 0.9m. I bought it specifically to use with a Silverstone USB 3.1 Type C Gen 2 dual bay drive docking station but I've had nothing but trouble with the docking station when using this extension cable. The dock would appear and reappear in Windows as it pleased and I struggled to access any plugged in drives. As soon as I disconnected this cable and used only the included (with the docking station) USB 3.1 Gen 2 cable the issues subsided and the docking station worked as it should. I feel a bit bad for leaving a 1 star review for something so specific but this should just work without any problems, and it wasn't cheap either!

Worked very well for a few months then stopped

I have already have a single adaptor for hdmi, usb, and usb-c but the other end of the adaptor is too small. So it reduces the flexibility of moving things around. First I had doubts about this product but everything worked perfectly. IT WORKS. But for just an extender should we pay 3k?

I am using this to connect my HP Spectre 15t x360 with USB-C 3.1 (and a 2nd USB-C port but only 3.0) to a USB-C hub which provides power delivery (PD), 4K HDMI, audio, and USB connections for my keyboard, mouse, and monitor's USB hub. At first this did not work - I do not know why. The video worked and power worked but the audio and USB did not work. I tried both ports and multiple times, it did not work. I emailed the seller and they responded quickly. After a few days, I tried it again. It worked this time. I believe this means the cable is fully functional and any issues I've been experiencing are most likely due to the more complicated parts of the system (the laptop or the hub most likely), but it works now so I'm happy. The quick support was also good, but ended up being unnecessary.
