This Lens Hood was half the price of the Canon brand one! And there is no difference!!! It is well made and fits perfectly. It fits exactly with my Canon 100-400mm lens. Would definitely recommend!

The quality, fit and sizing of this lens hood is really great. I can't imagine how it could be any better made. The fact that it costs a fraction of what Canon wants us to pay for it's branded alternative makes the JJC the obvious pick. I've purchased a number of other JJC camera accessories over the years and have been consistently impressed with their design, build quality and value.

Great lens hood, it fits perfectly and doesn’t add any vignetting. Seems very sturdy and snaps right into place.

It works just like the original. However, the build quality feels flimsier than the JJC hoods I bought years ago.

Canon is notorious for not providing lens hoods for purchased lenses. I purchased a used lens (18-150mm) and found this hood, necessary for a long lens. Fit perfectly! This vendor is excellent for making this product available.

Worth the purchase. Seems sturdy enough to hold up to the work I do which is Tactical and Technical Rescue photography. Has a great locking mechanism on it as well. I would buy another one if needed.
