this matrix does everything it says it will do flawlessly. If you have a use case for this product this is the one to get as the only ever alternative is 5 times the price.The one down side are the built in fans are very, very loud and will run full tilt while the matrix is turned on. This is because the expected use case for this class of product is commercial. It'll be installed into a very small and not at all well ventilated AV closet at a place like a sports bar so multiple TV's can display the same exact game. It's not expected to be used in a well ventilated / cool environment, or a place with a low noise floor.The good news is that the matrix can be easily opened and the fans can be unplugged and either left with out fans or replaced with quieter fans. So if you're not going to push the matrix very hard and it will be kept and a naturally well ventilated and air conditioned place you might be able to get away with removing the fans. However, if you plan on running all four outputs at the same time or plan on installing it in an enclosed space I wouldn't run it with out the fans.

Got it hooked up fairly easily, everything works as it should. Seems way less flimsy than my last matrix and the dedicated 12v power supply as well as the metal construction gives me hope that this one is going to last. Should any issues occur, I'll try to remember to update this.Side note for any fellow streamers out there - This bypasses the mandatory UDHP settings on PS5 - I'm able to input my Switch and PS5 into the matrix, and then a single output from the matrix to the Elgato. I don't get any warnings or requests about UDHP from the Elgato software or my PS5. So, I'd say it makes that part of my life WAY easier. I hated having to disable that every time I wanted to stream something.

It works great, web access is really nice, simple and easy. You can label the inputs / outputs, set EDID, downscale resolution and HDR. You can do a lot with the audio, but I don't need to. You can turn it on / stand by via web browser. Web access is password protected.The only problem and it's a big one for being in a media center, the fans are under sized and very loud.For some reason 30mm fans are used when 40mm fans should have been used, thus I bought 2, Noctua NF-A4x20 5V.I also had to made the fan holes bigger, using a 4.2mm metal punch gun, not the prettiest but it works.Since these were bigger fans and thus moved more air, I lowered the RPM of the fans, just a little, used a 200Ohm potentiometer. Now I can't hear them.

Two weeks after ordering a more expensive model than the one shown here, with shipping estimated at 2-3 days, OREI suddenly informed me that said model was out of stock, and no longer even appears on amazon (searching the specific model somehow leads to THIS page). Now we have a project on hold and no replacement available. Watch closely for order updates and be prepared to investigate if your item isn't en-route quickly.

Got the OREI UHD-404 4x4 HDMI matrix set up quickly, and it's been working perfectly with both my MacBook Pro and Windows PC. Compared to my last HDMI matrix, this one feels a lot sturdier, thanks to its metal construction and dedicated 12V power supply. It gives me confidence that it’s built to last. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to update.One thing I really appreciate is the included remote—it makes switching between devices super easy. Whether I’m working on my MacBook Pro or jumping over to the PC, it’s seamless. If you're managing multiple devices and need a reliable solution, this matrix is definitely worth considering.

Really no problems - various inputs and outputs - a couple of little glitches here and there but overall pretty impressive fast performance - outputting to old projector - Two 1080 monitors and a 720 monitor simultaneously and works fine

I purchased one. Love it. I needed more inputs and outputs, so I bought a second switch. This is an excellent switch, low profile, and very important for me, ALL the inputs and outputs are on the back. No inputs, outputs or power on the front, just the selector switches and indicator lights. Low profile, makes it easy to place into your equipment stack.
